Couldn't agree more, Shepherd did unbelievably well to get Souness then Roeder from all the ambitious and confident managers from the list who were willing to snatch the job they have obviously been reading your informed and professional website. Or talking to that willy woofter who runs the Post Office, you know, the bloke you think would be our ideal chairman Your faith in the club you say you support is touching. Such unambitious talk would have made Mckeag and his cronies proud, as I'm sure you have so much else in common with them. time after time you have gone to my site and systematically pointed out the inaccuracies. Every time I try and take you advice and fix it. Then I find I'd be going against what Shepherd has published and I think "who do I believe Freddie Shepherd, and his signed report, or NE5". My brain then explodes. You agreed with Shepherd's appointment of Souness, I never agreed with Crozier's appointment of Sven, regardless of how many times you say it. Give the choice of Sven or Souness it would be a brave man to decide either way. You are clearly braver than me in deciding Souness was the better man. Where did McKeag appear in this ? McKeag's appointments versus Souness and Roeder. Not sure I've heard you say anything against any of them. But that's cos you sycophantly back who ever is chairman then claim otherwise later. Doff your cap the rich man. Yes Sir, of course Sir !! 11th's great sir, better than 7th last year sir, and better than 3rd and 4th and 5th sir, just unlucky sir, blame the manager sir, blame the players sir, blame the fans sir, how were you suppose to know sir, yes sir of course sir, Geordies are winners sir, yes sir. (Oh and yes sir, did you like my clever comment about poofters sir, wouldn't ever catch a great man like you sir, doing anything dodgy on the sex front sir, unless you you asked me kindly sir, cos for you sir, anything sir ) . i just thought he was saying that we have had worse boards in his time and for all the slaggings off those slagging off come up with no solutions

The points are not a waste of time but wondering about them are, at least they are to me. What if I won the lottery? Now I wouldn't mind finding out, especially the big Euro rollovers. no,thats why football captivates us,full of what if's,thats why we leave the ground saying," if that shot had gone in" etc,it's why we think "if we bought ******** we'd be so much better"
-
What if's are a waste of time. What if Freddy Shepherd had of kept his mouth shut about Bobby leaving? What if Dyer hadn't refused to play against Boro? What if the linesman and referee had seen the blatant handball against Boro? What if the ref has stopped the game away to Villa when we had two players down when they went on to score? good points and not a waste of time

I thought Robson had loads of injuries, I thought Duncan Ferguson was lying next to Marcelino for most of the first season Robson was at the club. I seem to remember quite a few without going looking for names. Dabizas missed around 6 months, Cort about 7 months, Shearer around 3 months, Dyer around the same off the top of my head. we never went into games with 6 or 7 first teamers out week after week. had owen only been out 3 months where do you think we'd be. i see the situations as being similar You could say the same about Owen under Souness though and where we'd have been had he only missed 3 months. i do actually wonder "what if" with souness and all the injuries we had.

was probably asked the question to be fair.............. you don't understand, being fair or balanced isn't allowed, you can only slag off!
-
no i don't feel worse, this season reminds me of robsons first full season, though robson didn't have all the injuries to contend with. i think.....where would we be had owen played 20 games ? i think.....we will get defenders inthe summer.
-
he's pissed off with the negativity. this is not the first time a no story has been used to slag the club off.

steven taylor went on loan to wycombe to get regular first team games and reckons it was the best thing to happen to him, preston had a lad from man u on loan a bit back aswell

Erm, why? If I could trust us to spend that money wisely I might be more inclined to agree with you but even so I wouldn't want him to go. Owen is consistantly injured, dont get me wrong, right now with no bid he is our savour, but a bid of £12million is a loss of £5million, yet it takes £110k off the wage bill every week. Martins is our main man now, hes playing in a s*** team all season, he is on the brink of 20 goals, he rarely gets injured, HE is the man we need to build this team around, with £12million we could sign another striker who will get 20 goals or more a season but wont be injured half as much as Owen. Look at the facts, Owen has been here 2 years and has made something like 11 appearences, THAT IS SHOCKING, world class or not we dont need a player who costs us so much money every week when he doesnt play. Like i said right now Owen is coming back and he is our saviour, but with his injury record, and with the fact that in a year and a half he is a free agent, plus the fact that he could jump to Liverpool any second, all these facts mean that right now if we got £12 million for him we should be laughing! I understand the whole Roeder thing, but lets not forget Roeder gave us Martins, im not defending Roeder or anything, but the fact that he gave us Martins makes me trust him somewhat in the transfer window in regards to buying a striker. Dont get me wrong btw, im a huge Owen fan and i love him being here, but £12million, guys i just cant stop thinking that his contract is up in 2 years and that he might stall on signing a new one. If we lost him to a free transfer id be gutted, even next summer clubs would be reluctant to bid high for him due to his contract ending. If this is true this will be the highest we will get for him should he want to leave, i think Shepherd needs to talk to Owen, find out weither or not he will sign a new deal. If not then sell. Any idiot who knows anything about football abroad knew Martins was a good fast player for a few years now. It was probably nothing to do with Roeder or our dumb scout. It was Emre saw Roeder crying into his cornflakes about needing a striker who then told the club about Martins. so everyone knew, doesn't that make roeder very good for beating them all to his signature.as for trying to make out that it was only cos emre told roeder. any proof of this or are you a bare faced liar ? The word probably in my post sort of makes the barefaced liar bit impossible. Can I just ask are you related to Roeder ? As for beating people for his signature, I wasn`t aware there were many clubs looking for a mini striker for 10mill. Liverpool had Kuyt, Chelsea Sheva, Man Utd didn`t want one, Arsenal had just got Walcott for their new small striker. Tottenham Berbatov. I can`t think of many other clubs in the prem with that sort of money. Also anyone knows that prem stars get more money than anywhere else that plays serious football and we pay the most outside the big 4. So how does that make Roeder special? the phrase "it was" makes me think that you want people to believe your silly story, and didn't valencia want him

i'd take that if true

how does that work ? It doesn't, just AS9 being slightly wacky is all. One of the two will come to the forepoint over those two games and possibly win it for their side. just down to those 2 then, not the other 20 players on the pitch ? One of Kaka/Ron will play better than the other. They are both the key players in each other's sides so they will probably be at the heart of the goals that win the games. do you watch much football...1 game will prove who's the best ? a team game can prove which individual is the best? if 1 player has a mare does it prove the other is better overall ?. your previous post is childish.

yeah i sympathise,no problem getting rid though for better........theres the problem.....coleman?,o'neill? not convinced not convinced that they are better?? he is the worst manager go the league, and our worst for a while. anything would be an improvement. not saying 'anything' is the long term answer, but he is a bloody awful manager. not sure what "go the league"means but saying "anything" would be an improvment is farcical,i see no reason to think pearce, moyes, coleman, redknapp, etc would be any better.....would be happy i f roeder left and redknapp came in,after all it's an improvment in your mind

FFS you find 1 manager who doesn't lie...like i've said over and over again, they all tell what they think we want to hear, that goes for ferguson, wenger et al correct. so believing anything that one like roeder, who has been lying to US directly, is mental. or juvenile, most likely, eh ? so you agree all managers lie. "directly",you mean in interviews like all the rest and his lies are worse cos his results aren't as good as half the managers in his division. your "liar" thing doesn't work cos they all do it and i wouldn't want a truethful manager
-
he would go,more likely to be manure preparing for january if owen proves his fitness..can't see them taking 2 or 3 months as proof of his fitness.
