It's funny, after reading the "if a deal is not forthcoming " tweet this morning, I took it negatively and assumed Ashley up to his usual. Left it, went to work, where I still am and it reads different though the same words. It now seems to read that the deal between BZG and Ashley is done so any hold up is PL fit and proper test and any other procedures they have to take. Amazing how the same words can mean vastly differing things.

Agree it should have been put across exactly, but on the other hand if it was Ashley why did they not put our bid is in the hands of the owners and we're awaiting a final decision, and also why use amicable and not the fault of both parties. It may be that the PL demands secrecy, bit like an NDA while going through its process. Still seems pretty strange wording and delivery trhough a third party.

Why would a company worth billions need to borrow to buy a football club for £350m? Obviously I'm clueless when it comes to this sort of thing, but that doesn't sound right to me. Dont know about this case but many companies and businesses borrow instead of using their own assets. Sometimes it's as simple as you have money in the bank earning 3%, it makes more sense to leave it there if you can borrow at 1%. The only people who can borrow at 1% are governments. It'll be done for tax purposes or cash flow as @Shay's Given Tim Flowers says. Bloody hell man, it was only an example, I could have used 40% and 37.623% but I kept it simple.

Last time he was on his username was still odin Mate, I've just logged out in, changed my password, updated my sig, in less than 5 minutes, I bet nobody noticed a thing.
