They have Reading, Fulham and Birmingham at home before the turn of the year. Be nice if they could go a calander year aswell as 12months without a home win.
  2. Its possible this sale has been going on longer than has been made public. It certainly makes sense of Rafa staying on after the last summer transfer window.
  3. Not looking forward to this. Quite pleased I'll be working.
  4. Also, if it's true that he has set Christmas deadline, as reported in some sections of the media, he can hardly use the sale or non sale as an excuse for not spending in January.
  5. Is it possible that England games are very corporate events and those are the circles she moves in ?
  6. The Shaw, Barkley, Carroll story has been doing the rounds for a week or two. Really though. Shaw possible, but im sure he will be talking to many clubs. The rest I cant take seriously. Nah I'm not believing it, just saying that they seem to be adding that in to their story. Wonder if it was the Star that came up with those names originally ?

  8. A simple double. Bradford and Swindon. At least I've moved on from losing accys by one goal.
  9. Given that she apparently wants to front the organisation she could well be measuring up for curtains etc.

Thinking longer term and dreaming a little (if the takeover happened), he'll have to take more notice or re jig the clubs workings at that level, or the club will have do it. When you see how much Chelsea are bringing in for their kids it can;t be ignored.

Didn't someone say he writes for a national paper? Get f***ed man?! Ah, here we go, didn't remember who posted it like I'm convinced that he is not a real person and is instead some kind of robot that just churns out complete and utter bitter bile! The guy is quite successful, he also writes leading articles in the Daily Mail. He's unintentionally hilarious. Many Mackems see RTG as an embarrassment and he is the epitome of it. Just imagine fans of other clubs popping in for a look on the run up to playing them and reading his stuff.
  13. None of the Liverpool lot shook hands with the Arsenal players at the final whistle either. Can't remember about other Liverpool players but distinctly remember John Aldridge refusing and this was about 6 weeks after he ruffled Brian Laws's hair after he OG'd in th cup semi final. It was a major reason, though not the only one why I hated the snide scouse git
  14. BFI has footage from a 1901 1-0 win V Liverpool but they missed the goal.
  15. Looks mental these days to see defenders just casually passing the ball back for the keeper to pick up. Loved that game. Watched it on my first real foreign holiday, Sidari, ended up dancing on a table with some bloke from Sheffield (as the match progressed the family table to our left seemed to hate Liverpool as much as I did). Seemed to come as a bit of a shock to his wife and kids and my girlfriend how we could rejoice in some other teams loss. Was my birthday aswell.
  16. Don't want to but won't have a choice. Working. (Well I do have a choice, I could pull a sickie, I could jack my job in but you get my drift)

Aye and the yellow ones are rank.
  18. Didn't see it but was it worse than Kieron Dyer kicking the corner flag and the ball moving about 2 foot ?

    Football pet hates

Loved Acuna for the opposite of this. Every penalty, for and against, he followed in with 100% effort.

Personally, I have no problems with him doing this as like you say, he's from a staunchly Republican family and area. For such a man of principles though, he seems to have no problems paying (quite a lot of) tax to HMRC, knowing fine well that a lot of it is going directly to the British Army......that's where I find him to be an absolute hypocrite. Doesn't the same go for every Republican working in the UK ?
  21. Gayle looked OK because we played 2 up...... how many other times will that happen ?
