  1. What? He’s about 3st wet through. Hence the bold. He's not fat obvs, he's just heavy legged at the weight he's currently at. You sacrifice speed of movement the more weight you put on Even with the part in bold, it’s still utter nonsense (not what you said above, but in relation to Perez specifically). That he bulked up? He absolutely did from first joining us. Rafa is arsed about players like Mitro doing it and his game relies on literally no pace. You said that he’s now slower and therefore not as good due to being heavier than his ‘natural weight’, which is the part that is nonsense. He’s not as good because his initial period with us was a purple patch and since that period he’s been the average footballer that he actually is. Your post above also contradicts what you are saying, if Rafa hates players bulking up, then why does he consistently pick Perez? That is also based on what Hardy said, which is questionable. I don't really care if you think its nonsense iah. He picks Perez as shown in recent matches we are absolutely w*** without him and we don't have a single player who can play ten? He also dropped him. It's questionable if you don't have a clue how science works maybe, but extra weight = slower movement hardly rocket science Merino can play ten.
  2. Everton had better not been moved, I've got a lieu day in.
  3. like the ones that wanted 442 then we get ripped apart on the break, u think they would shut up after that. Fairly sure they'd have been saying to go 442 in some games, other tactics in others. Are you saying he's beyond criticism btw ?
  4. Millmoor was very similar. Blundell aswell. Funny saying "big terrace" when it's quite small but I know what you mean.

I read that and i literally couldn't believe it either. How do you even explain the levels of utter shat that they come out with? It’s flip-flopping to any scenario their minds can think of to try to manoeuvre into a no-lose position. If we were taken over and if this hypothetical scenario plays out and Rafa is sacked for whatever reason it will only be to bring in someone that will do in theory if a better job. Got to think of how they work. If we won the title and went on to win the champs league (omly a slightly better chance than them doing it I know) they'd be posting that doing it once means nowt and that our raised expectations would lead to bother and it's all downhill from here.

    Football pet hates

This "a forward who costs so much will get so many get so many goals" debate going on on here. It's crap, trite and for the most point posters are spouting hypocritical shite! and it's as dull as fuck!
  7. A MINIMUM of .... extra time to be played. I'm sure there was a stoppage in play for the disallowed goal right before the one they actually scored from. Rarely actually works like that to be honest. Works like that often in Manchester.
  8. As much as I dislike him that was a great finish.
  9. Been mulling it over in my mind like. How many tackles do we see where a player wins the ball and topples the opposing player (most sliding and block tackles),it also means every bump is a free kick. He got the ball and there was no intent to bring the player down so no pen IMO.
  10. I'd love to see him in training as I'm sure more than one former team mate of his have said how good he is at finishing.
  11. Ritchie won't go wandering tonight after his lapses on Saturday. He didn't go wandering last weekend, told to keep it narrow and he stuck to it and even when it was failing neither players nor manager changed it. Saw similar last season V Wolves when the tactics were quite obviously not working but the players were to scared to change it even slightly.
  12. Alternatives to Shelvey are miles better than the alternatives to Ritchie True till Atsu returns.
  13. Not rather Merino for Perez ? A triangle of Shelvey/Perez/Merino should have more control that the other alternatives.
  14. This is where it gets awkward. I think with the squad we had we'd have been promoted quicker, easier and more entertainingly (if that word exists ?) with some other managers but without him we wouldn't have been able to get that strength of squad.
  15. Adjusting to a new country/league and him and his team go through a bad run= confidence shot to fuck.
  16. Thats the problem with assists stats, they rely on people finishing them. He set up two sitters for Joselu today, both from very good open play.
  17. He really has go tthe annoying goalies habit of f***ing up then blaming every bugger else for it, shouting and pointing etc.
  18. Is "newly promoted teams are soon "found out " a statistic ?
  19. couldn't understand after the decent opening showing at Man Utd switching Ritchie and Murphy over, then compunding it by keeping them on those sides. Their 22 with the mask knew he could push right on against Ritchie as if the ball was intercepted Ritchie hasn't got the pace or legs to get away. With Murphy he'd have had to hold back a bit more. Neither player nor manager done anything about it. Don't get me started about not using Mitrovic if we are playing two up front.
  20. http://i64.tinypic.com/2eutk7b.png agreed The second one definitely. The third i was directly in line with and it was a fantastic ball in that looks so easy but beats most keepers. Easier than it looks.
  21. Didn't here much rallying the troops. Heard loads of Rafa stuff.
  22. Thanks. That would seem more realistic as to how much we could spend. As ever, if you have the money there will be ways round it. Not assuming we'll have that sort of money btw.
