Do CEO's and DoF's have extra special powers of persuasion that would have made selling clubs sell the players we want for less than we have already bid ? Selling clubs know we are desperate and have time on their side, either buyer or seller will have to blink before the window shuts.

Balance that with they'd rather we went down as we could well be directly challenging them for players in the summer.

It's a standard 4-3-3. Which you could see after 15mins wasn't working. I'd be very tempted to play ASM or Willock behind Wood, get Almiron on the left where he played his best for us when he first came and he'd give more work in the midfield. 4-4-1-1/4-5-1 call it what you will.

He may well have but he's played his best at LCH in a 3/5. At left back his lack of ability with the ball allows teams to make us funnel it to him for the 30yd chip up the line.
