He played vs Everton u21 last thursday cheers. Full game ? any reports how he got on ?
-
Oh btw, I wasn't really being serious (except the "imagine that" bit if he knackered one of them)
-
Saivet crossed my mind like but Tiote has been to China and back hasn't he? he's been to China...is he back ?
-
Just out of curiosity with people mentioning Aarons at LB (an idea I wouldn't be against if he'd been playing regularly)....don't think he's had any reserve games since returning from injury, has there been any behind closed door games etc that we know of in which he's played ?
-
I think it'll be that but Lascelles out left and the justification will be "that was all we could do to keep the shape that done well recently"
-
Imagine if that actually happened.
-
He should change his name for the duration of his time there and make sure he has the no.51.
-
It really would make sense from a tactical pov. Watford's main strength against us was their power in the air, three centre backs should nullify that, and Colo could cover for Aarons lack of defensive sense. Plus we'd finally have genuine attacking threat down both flanks. it's not like Watford just lump it up. For years people on here have whined on about us not doing what we are best at an changing everything for the opposition, instead of imposing our play on them. Keep what we've been doing the last few games, it's not like Dummett gives loads going forward. Oh and Watfords main strength certainly isn't in the air from open play.

Who plays left back for the reserves ? Is it Gillesphey ? Is he that bad it's worth switching the whole team round after the last few performances ? Edit...scrub that, didn't realise he was out on loan.
-
Much more of a Klopp-ite isn't he? Would spell the end for Benteke. It's crazy how Liverpool bought Carroll and then six months later wanted rid and they've basically done the same with Benteke. A load of money just wasted. Cabella-Thauvin ?

Kevin Nolan player manager at Orient till the summer. Good move for him ? Wonder if that dressing room effect he has will translate to management.
-
I never typed that....then checked, wtf I did ?
-
why push Wijnaldum outside after the way we've played last 3 games since he moved up and central ? If berahino comes in it will be to play instead of Mitro or alongside with Wijnaldum in behind. Rtaher he didn't come and we used the money elsewhere than do as you propose.
-
Been ok since the entire team went through that shocking spell (Leicester, Palace etc). Watford could be interesting as I can see them pushing Deeney further up alongside Ighalo whereas recently we've played teams more suited to playing 1 up and supporting from the middle a bit more, which seems to suit our Colo.
-
Lots of harshness on here towards Dummett. No he's not ideal and should be a back up centre half BUT he gets little to no support defensivly and rarely has an option wide or in front of him to pass to, hence the opposition allow us to funnel the ball to him. rarely at fault for goals the way Janmaat has been and doesn't seem to give wide players free reign.
-
We've just started to see how good we can be with Wijnaldum behind a front man, I don't want to be changing that at the minute. Can Berahino play that role in front of Gini ?, as much as I like Mitrovic, right now we need the goals and hopefully be able to keep developing him next season.
-
Quite often it's not wanting English players per se as much as players with experience of playing in England, preferably the premier league.
-
Given that personnel Mitrovic would be dropped. We are playing well now partially because Wijnaldum is playaing further forward, we have to build on that, not stop it.

Huge Mbemba fan but that's an absolute crock of s***. He didn't look where the keeper was, it was a wayward pass to the wrong end of the 6 yard box and Elliot if anything deserves credit for not giving away a penalty and getting himself sent off as that would have really f***ed us. Fully agree with this. all true, however Mbemba is looking very good, slight steve howey syndrome in that his mistakes seem to cost goals when others make worse mistakes and get away with them. Got high hopes for this lad, looks the real deal.

There's having favourite players and that but Robert doesn't belong alongside those two like. Not going to argue it with you or anything, I just can't see how you'd have Robert alongside those two and that's before getting onto having him ahead of the likes of Lee and Cole. Can't remember seeing those two wander round the pitch in their pants. Thats the difference.
-
Think he's half a step above those. He's definitely a better player than all of those. He's our best player since Robert. Robert wasn't even the best player in Sir Bobby's team. Never underestimate the effect watching Robert wander round SJP in his undercrackeres had on the young, impressionable Ronaldo.
-
tbf you could say that of all bar maybe 3 or 4 clubs in europe. (AmI going OTT about this lad ?)
-
Seems a little burnt out and now playing out of position so his head may go down a little quicker than normal. Hope he has a good head on him, could learn loads from Wijnaldum and a perfect back up for that position.
-
Why would you put that on twitter / fb? For others to see. For some it's all about image, how they appear to others is all that matters.
