West Bromwich Albion vs Newcastle United - 20/04/13 @ 3pm (No TV)

he wouldn't be "out wide". he'd go there when space and their positioning provides, which all players ought toi be looking to do. -
any reason why that still couldn't happen as it's along the lines of what i've posted in the WBA match thread.

billy the fish debuchy saylor mapou haidara sissoko cabaye anita ben arfa* marveaux cisse * if no ben arfa then I'd go for campbell, we are desperate for someone with a natural inclination to get into the box on the end of stuff and gouffran, despite a decent couple of opening games (eager to impress ?) doesn't look up to it as yet. try to dominate the middle and build. that line up wouldn't be set in stone with the middle 3 being mobile (ie sissoko not stuck wide) and ben arfa and marveaux to float. with three in the middle it may give a little more scope for cabaye to move forward, currently the sutuation is that if he moves forward tiote gets far more ball than he should and sissoko can attempt at being the midfield box to box player he was more known for in france. -
if we were to and i don't think we will unless we go down, i think it would be a Pochettino type, little known to many but with a good reputation within the game. don't aske for a name, hence the "little known".

at what point did you see that ? before they scored i could only see us scoring, after they scored I saw it like you did. His post is spot on, what's up with you madras? On acid tonight ? no i'm honest, till they scored I could only see it going one way, after that we were never getting back into it.

don't mind his wayward passing( obviously prefer is not to be so) but his first few games i was secure in that he just wouldn't get done. today though he was so jittery on the ball and defending.
-
nah, what i was saying was, if we were outsiders thats how we'd have looked at it. Right. And why were you saying that? Have you not met Madras? capital "M" ?
-
really ? do you think teams forget about who they are and look back to previous seasons ?

They are both the same aren't they. if you use absolutes be prepared to stand by them.
-
fatigue and the linesman and if it had been fulham/stoke etc in their euro season it's exactly what we'd say it was. to be honest i don't see it that way and maybe it wasn't that way for those clubs.
-
how about a 6-1 revesre at home ?
-
been saying this all night, wether di canio turns out to be a good manager or not is to be seen, tonight though he outclassed pardew on every level the only level that matters is the score (within reason)

Mix of both. Don't think it's fair to slag HBA off, but at the same time Hatem and his teammates expect him to do everything sometimes. But like Dave said, there was no movement with our players and when HBA has the ball everyone just stands and looks at him. you reckon ? they just sat back, he had no answer, in fact often held on to the ball when we had a man out wide. all too late anyway.

last three or four he's been good, including one mainly at left back. like i've said before, many were happy with his being at left back today. historically mind, I'm a "he's a squad player at best" type guy.
-
That's not an answer to his question. tis in a way.
-
not many defend him, it's more some (me included) dont blame him for cabaye being cack the last few weeks, for sissoko being likewise, i doubt he told debuchy to look ordinary. It's his job to get the best out of the players isn't it? did you have cabaye in your startin 11 today ? he's looked fucked for the last few games.
-
didn't fall over as he showed johnson in side onto his only foot.

-
Jonas starting at left back was laughable. haven't checked but i'll bet many thought it was a good idea pre game. I wasn't sure but wasn't massivly against it.

I always thought you were from rye hill.

We have nothing to worry about but ourselves. I don't care how cocky the mackems seem to be getting, they are not as good as us. I'm going to the ground early tomorrow and I will wait for the mackem team coach to get in. I know it’s childish for somebody my age but I'll probably lose my voice hurling abuse at them when they get off the coach. Teams can rarely play well when a hostile crowds gets at them, if we create the right amount of hatred and direct it towards them our players will put them to the sword. I also think the atmosphere might give the players a lift later in game when they might start to feel tiredness from playing on Thursday. well i'll not be there for that (might be a bit too bumpy for girl 1) but i'm all for booing, jeering, whistling, catcalling (whatever the f*** that is) whenever they get the ball, we did it to good effect against liverpool last season and i really don't think it'll take much for them to crack.

Got 25/1 on Paddy Power, like. no doubt i could've got better odds but just stick with betfair these days.

rarely been so chilled or confident before a derby (even more so than last season......got that one wrong) but mick's right, we have to intimidate them, complacency from the crowd can get to the players, we have to get them intimidated.
