never ? why did he leave west ham ? Think you're thinking of curbishley so I am, at least now I can see a difference between them.

  3. What I mean is that his decision making at Newcastle has been beyond appalling. on the whole, aye, especially where key non playing personnel are concerned.
  4. depends on the terms of his contract I'd have thought.
  5. all luck apparently and all he's ever done is sell sporting goods, never had any stock market dealings, dealings with other companies etc.
  6. tbf i'd say he behaves exactly like a real businessman.
  7. It didn't work last time. not only that but we'll be worth less so he's less likely to sell as he'd be taking more of a hit. wouldn't surprise me if his plan is to stay in the prem without risking relegation till economic times change and someone makes him a decent offer (not necessarily a profit)
  8. "a retard" f*** me it's a playground.
  9. it looks like it's going to be a death by a thousand cuts. the percentage of revenue created by the fans gets less every season (more coming from TV, sponsorship and corporate stuff) so for those that stop away there will probably be enough assets to sell to make up the shortfall. the main worry is that there isn't a sniff of someone willing to take over so don't think for a second that purely getting rid of ashley will change things as even if he wanted out it might not happen.
  10. it's newcastle, will probably lead to a title challange followed by relegation with record low points the season after.
  11. never dull with us is it ? at least now if/when pardew goes this place wont get ridiculous over the replacement.
  12. if it's true that remy has a get out clause on relegation, (regardless if it's for free, like ba leaving west ham, or a knockdown price, like ba leaving here) why would lambias need to meet with QPR officials ?

Give over. No correlation between the two, and you're completely making some kind of bullshit awful reasoning here. Show me where you can get a virgin money loan, with no credit check, at 1000% apr, whereby the apr increases with every payment missed. One preys on those in society who are unable to obtain credit or require immediate credit to survive irrespective of cost, the other is a bank and the bank doesn't loan money to profit ? they are the same, the difference is the rate. (in fact the banks are worse as they carry more power leading us to where we are)

IMO A bank ain't worse than a company that prays on poverty? (See: Dresden's comment) Plus see the posts in the other thread RE: SW/Bolton. IMO these lot are worse than gambling/drink companies but I may be on my own there. banks don't prey on poverty ?

emotionally spent ? possibly, but he never regained the verve he had, more money wouldn't have changed that and he did walk when he realised the cash was coming to an end, probably his best managerial after leaving here was saving us when he came back, better than fulham and citeh where he could outspend the opposition. we went backwards in that we were in the title chase the season before, till the last game, the shearer signing season we never really clicked, even the man utd 5-0 was a one off and we never looked like winning the title for all we finished runners up (we could easy have finished 4th or 5th on the final day). we weren't as good to watch, as fluid, as dominant, as good!

    Kevin Keegan

when he got the big money (shearer) we went backwards and then he left beacause there was no more to spend,

you think so, he became a worse manager the more he got to spend and couldn't handle it when there was no more to spend. brilliant coach, better i'd suspect than he'd even give himself credit for.
  19. We have 6, of which 3 are fitness coaches. So I don't think a beefed up backroom is important at all. The main man and the assistant are the ones that one has to look at. Yeah but a lot come through the youth system which plays the same style from a very early age. Could be wrong like. quality, not quantity innit.

didn't he claim injury to leave the training field ?
  21. my thoughts as well, throw in alcohol sponsorship into the mix which pass's without notice by most, theres not all that big a difference. not to mention LIBOR riggers sponsoring the league we are in. We should limit club shirt sponsorship to companies that always behave in the most advantageous manner for society and then enjoy the fact the football shirts no longer have sponsors. i'm all for that.

i see, while agreeing with it and saying as much myself i'd still like to know which the what is classed as a clear cut chance, wonder if they have a list there. on second thoughts i don't think i want to be reminded.
  24. shows how different people can view the game as i've seen nothing apart from that shot to make me think he's anything special. not writing him off yet mind.

If his minutes per goal ratio from last season had continued through this season he'd have scored 40 goals in the Premier League alone. But then nobody on planet earth could have ever kept up the form Cisse had in his first half season here. I don't disagree that he's under performed this season (partly down to the team/pardew and partly down to himself), but lets not make too many comparisons with his first half season, because its totally unrealistic. That was in response to somebody claiming his chance conversion rate had 't significantly dropped. how is the chance conversion thing done, does it take into account the difficuilty of the chance (and it must be said cisse has missed a fair few you'd expect lesser strikers to score over the last season) or is it just a goals to shots ratio ?
