Me too. Reminds me of this lot: Class I hate people like that which sadly seems to be how blokes are becoming these days. What happened to the shirt, jeans and shoes man? Now you have blokes, some in their forties, wearing twisty jeans that hang down their arse, huge v neck t shirts, with a scarf around their neck, f***ing either big pointy boots or sandals with f***ing dog tags hanging around their neck, flat caps on their head and bracelets around their wrist. You're not cool, you're.... a dickhead. A lad who plays football with us was out one night and dressed like that, he's 40 and you just know his wife watched f***ing geordie shore or that london crap thing and thought that's how men look these days, here try them on. He looked like a dick and probably felt like one too. Couldn't think of anything worse than going out in shirts, jeans and shoes btw. Charva-tastic. Nah, charvers go out in henley t-shirts and g star jeans. A nice pair of levis and a plain shirt with some nice casual shoes and you're a dappy chappy. You get the impression these days blokes dress to dress up. Like how women do. Blokes should be blokes. I hate seeing grey haired old men wearing adidas sambas with red/purple/brown jeans cut short at the knee wearing a t- shirt with some half naked bird on the front or some mish mash of a union jack or stars and stripes. Pet hate of mine the rebranding of the male or rather bloke. proper charvas wear trackie bottoms
  3. stoke had the worst recent form (last 6 games) till today.

Why not? He's perfect for the role if the team is set up right. I'm on about the terminology. And no he isn't! Why? its been around since the 50s ffs its not something that was made up by Football Manager ffs The term false 9 hasn't and nor has the position/role or whatever you want it to be. People are just looking back through the decades, picking out I don't know say Hungary and thinking hey, that Puskas, he wasn't a nunber 9 was he?! Must have been a false 9 then... f*** off! Can you imagine fans back then talking about false number 9s or the media writing about such crap? The term basically means a player who plays in between CF and attacking midfield and it has been a term used on the continent for decades because it didn't become a term widely used over here until recently doesn't mean it doesn't exist. i thought a false no9 was instead of the CF ? hence the no9 bit. have to say i'd never heard of it till barcelona started going without a CF.

Here I am. *waves* Like I said, Martin pretty much never got any results in March for us, and I can see the same thing happening for Sunderland. They are not in as much trouble as we are, but they are still right in it. seen their upcoming games ?

any idea, beyond being mentalists, why they have two "official" match threads ?

I dont get this comment. Been said on here a few times. Surely this goes without saying even if we had won 3-0? Glass half full. Nah, it's because as things stand there's still a so much to do and account for. As bad as Anji were, that could be us next week and visa versa. The result is good and I was pleased with the performance, but it's by no means anywhere near being the end of the story. It's effectively a 0-0 at half time and starting the second half knowing that you must win. except the second half will be on grass and over here and the majority of teams traditionally do better at home than away.
  9. crikey were you there ? how'd I miss you ? I missed so many people that day, I'm too standoffish, it;s a failing but also one of my few good points.
  10. tbf you'd have needed to start your run up last tuesday (early last tuesday at that).

financial ? We're not in financial trouble though. Yes we have the debt, but when the Glazers bought the club the debt stood at £660 million, and it's down to £350 million. We've knocked off £290 million of debt in 7 years. It's only a matter of time before it's gone completely. We don't need to sell and the Glazers will continue to finance us. if he can get big money for a player he thinks is maybe about to become surplus (and recycle the wages aswell) or at least not the guaranteed starter then why not do it ? rooney hasn't looked the player he was for a while (IMO), I wonder what those who watch him day to day think ? I couldn't disagree more with the latter. I've seen every game for the last 10 years and it's incredibly important what he brings to the table. Yes, Fergie has coached the flair out of him, he's not as exciting as he once was, but he's a better player for it. Fergie replaced the flair with incredible work ethic. He's the ultimate team player with world class ability. There are no technical weaknesses to his game, he's a genius. how do you coach the flair out of someone ? surely you input the ethic while utilising the flair, it's not one or the other but getting both as one (almost buddhist innit). as an outsider looking in, rooney has done a job but that role (new role in the scheme of things perhaps) could be better done by someone else. again looking from the outside m,aybe ferguson and rooney have lost patience with each other ?

why'd he get banned from TT ? same as here ?
  14. bung him an extra £5 to ignore foull throws and red card disco if he dives again. (it was disco wasn't it ?) Only got a yellow for that, second was for backchat after a foul IIRC. i just remember the girly yell as you threw yourself to the deck (oh yes you did you know )

How did you/do you hack it there? I couldn't do it It's in the main very amusing, you just don't have to take the p*ss out of them too much. Some of our fans on there go on like right f***ing tools although they are vastly outnumbered by the Sunderland fans on there who would argue black was white just because you are a Newcastle fan. Yeah I browse it occasionally and see the odd rogue Newcastle poster. You must have to bite your tongue a lot? I've been tempted to sign up purely to reply some of the morons on there! Not worth it unless you like 'Fuk off Mag kernt' as a standard reply to 90% of what you say hahah yeah thats what I've noticed, and a lot of the time that is directed at people who are clearly mackems! If a Mackem waivers from 100% hostile towards NUFC, even 99% he gets all that s***- its f***ing mental and makes them all look seriously deranged. Yup, genuinely wouldn't be surprised to read on there; Mackem: Newcastle didn't lose yesterday Rest of forum: Mag kernt marra f*** off FTM as stupid as it sounds it is as bad as that. Its that bad and worse. It's awful. anyone who even slightly shows rationale is shouted down instantly as a 'mag' except the more sensible mags bizzarely.

that page is RTG in a nutshell, a page of talking about our attendances ended by a racist comment. Fuckin hell man, 27 pages on one of our matches? Thats nearly as many as we get on here thats poor actually. our friendlies normally get more pages than that over there.
  20. not for the game I was involved in. that was foul throw day instead.

We have nowhere near enough movement in our side for that to work. Aye, exactly. Until we get a coach who is capable of working with players of this calibre then its not really going anywhere, which is a massive shame. tbf the false no9 only really works when you have the calibre of xavi, bousquets, messi etc to pull it off. has anyone else worked it successfully without a very high calibre of player who have been in the system for a long time ? Think Roma did a decent job of it a few years back with Totti as the F9. They were one of the first to do it? i always saw totti as a through the middle striker who just wasn't big so it was pointless punting him high balls and was adept at dropping a bit deeper at times in the hope it could release a team mate to get beyond him.
  22. you have to factor in the price of them getting a score draw aswell man, come on man, it's bloody obvious.
  23. I saw that - the East Stand clapped you out for shining a flash light in Ashley Wards face. eh ?
