  1. Let's not get silly now. And how much did the Zog cost? And roeder / Souness brought him in? Or roeder brought in the Yankee Bramble.... his sole contribution to our defensive woes. (shit isn't defensive woes a Alan Oliver copywrite)
  2. ...or a PS3 - free porn is in great supply on teh net - but no longer abandoned beneath hedges.
  3. Must have been brought in since the Cole / Gillespie transfer then - or we'd better keep quiet or get points taken off retrospectively...
  4. SO*NESS!!!! See it still doesn't let the really dirty words through though.....
  5. If Titus or Bramble leaves the club i'll be over the moon ;D Titus and Oba are the lads that played from October to February - Bramble and Martins are their evil twins that have been playing since mid-feb and have them locked up in our trophy room.
  6. No. I'd just got my kecks off and the b****** coppers had the handcuffs on me. You're the mad b****** that attacked Bellamy with an iron bar aren't you..... Mate - if I ever had the chance I wouldn't stop at just an iron bar, tbh. Ha ha ha!!!! If you were streaking I'd be VERY worried what you'd be brandishing :ky:
  7. No. I'd just got my kecks off and the b****** coppers had the handcuffs on me. You're the mad bastard that attacked Bellamy with an iron bar aren't you.....
  8. Aye - Chopra threw his shirt into the crowd just in front of us in the east stand. Better than having your club captain telling you to fuck off anyway.
  9. Scouting Kuyt 28 Days Later
  10. How about 1) a silent, back turned show of 'appreciation' or 2) return Fat Fred's scarves as you leave.
  11. Looks like you have the sheep skin coat - more qualifications than our esteemed manager had at the start of the season.
  12. The same manager made Parker un-droppable by making him club captain as well. It must have been Dyer's inspirational performances (back in November time) that made Roeder's mind up for him. Or he just gave the armband out with the black one's by mistake and didn't want to upset the lad. Just wish that I could find some of the feckers that said I was talking shite when I would have bitten Leeds' arm off for the 15 million they were reportedly sniffing around with six or so years back.
  13. Just a pity that the fans missed the opportunity for the 'You Suck' chants as well. Tom, If you really are the PA guy, then how about an AC/DC song more suited to NUFC than Thunderstruck - like Sin City or Highway to Hell.
  14. They already are here in South Shields - It's like village of the damned out there at times (even more than usual anyway)
  15. I'd rather masurbate with a cheese grater than see those f*ckers win a match, never mind get promoted. How many of the yes brigade attend the matches and have to witness the white knuckle ride of derby day first hand?
  16. The way I'm feeling at the minute, I've got the cash in the bank for renewal but thinking of spunking it away on a PS3 or something. When June rolls around I know that I will probably be in the same bunch of mugs who are renewing.
  17. Looked like a groin strain. If that's the case then I don't think we'll see him in a Newcastle shirt again.
  18. Was it a hat-trick of misplaced 'passes' that was predicted.
  19. Troubled times ahead. It's almost two months since we scored in the league, never mind looked like winning a game and the teams below us are picking up points. Two more matches and results like today and we could potentially be right up shit creek.
  20. Sorry, but that's just paranoia in the extreme. You could be right about that, but it hardly affects the question of whether or not Emre did it, or not, does it. UEFA aren't exactly the best people to hold up as beacons of good practice when it comes to the issue of racism either: remember the whole Spainish monkey chants thing? What about this lad from Watford, do you think he's got something to gain out of lying about Emre, and all? I am not holding UEFA us to be 'beacons of good practice' - quite the opposite really which is why I brought them up. If a governing body so inept can turn around a similar case - one without video evidence as well - then what is taking the FA so long and why go so 'in depth'. I'm not making a statement the Emre didn't do it - he may have told every player in the PL that they were a bunch of goat rapists and he's shagged of all of their dead grandmothers - but it has no bearing on the charges that he is facing - did he racially abuse the two players on the day in question. With reagard to the Watford lad - we're still catchable. 'I might be paranoid but that doesn't mean that they're no out to get me!'
  21. The nature of the 'man' in Diouf's case makes me think that he wouldn't wait two months to blab to somebody about being the victim of abuse. And for it being 'with no prospect of personal gain, for no apparent reason' keeping Emre out of our squad could be of great signifcance to his chances of playing in Europe next year. Plus, I thought that the FA were investigating an incident that took place at Everton last year, not into Emre's whole psychology. This is one of the longest investigations of this kind that I can remember and seems exceptionally in depth - even UEFA recently managed to get a racism charge investigated within a week - which makes me think that the lad is going to be crucified by the FA to 'prove' that they are being hard on racism in the game.
  22. I'm a bit more concerned about what was said on the North East news about McClaren looking to call him up for a Euro Qualifier in June. We got him fit only for England to f*ck him up in the World Cup and now the bast*rds are looking to do us again
  23. It's generally what happens when someone starts investigating something, they... ...well they investigate it, don't they. It's not surprising that "new" accusations are turning up. But they are so offended they have waited two months to complain. Suffering from Stockholm Syndrome I suppose. Can you honestly see Diouf not going straight to the papers - especially after 'having to be held back' by members of the Bolton Squad.
  24. First-half diagnosis? Controlled the game - did nothing spectacular but didn't shoot ourselves in the foot Second-half diagnosis? Built on the first half and battered them for most of the second half, barring the abberation of their goal Full-time diagnosis? Potential banana skin hurdled fairly painlessly - so far. Just waiting to see who turns up sick tomorrow Star man for United? Wasn't really any individual who stood out for me. Bramble had a good game, Martins showed some good strength and industry, Duff had one of his best games since August, Babayaro had a (mostly) solid game (see below) , Dyer looked good at times. Worst United player? Again, not really anybody I would put down for overall poor play. Butt couldn't play his normal game after being booked early on, Milner had fits and starts, Babayaro should have been shot for giving the free kick away. Opposition comment? Looked like most of the teams we have played in the earlier stages of the Intertoto / UEFA - barely First Division at best. Toon-pros? Tie should be over really. Didn't have to bust a gut to win this one and we now have a week off. Toon-cons? That goal. As long as we a) give away stupid free kicks like that and the b) completely fail to defend against the free kicks away fans are still going to tell us that we 'never win f*ck all'. Which we should sing back 'we always win f*ck all really! Post-match feelings? Job done, wasn't too painfull to watch
  25. and what was 10 years before that ? 1. Everton 86 2. Liverpool 77 3. Spurs 71 4. Arsenal 70 5. Norwich 68 6. Wimbledon 66 7. Luton 66 8. Forest 65 9. Watford 63 10. Coventry 63 11. Man U 56 12. Sheff Wed 52 13. Southampton 52 14. Chelsea 52 15. West Ham 52 16. QPR 50 17. Newcastle 47 18. Oxford 46 19. Charlton 44 20. Leicester 42 21. Man City 39 22. Villa 36 We really punched our weight before the Halls and Shepherd with all those boards that "were the same as now". 2 years later we finishe bottom - again, like we did in 1978 - and stayed down until the Halls and Shepherd came in. Oh and Villa had gone backwards under Doug Ellis since winning the European Cup. It is terrifying at times to look at the likes of Forest and QPR. These were our comptitors ten years back and these two were 'too good to go down'. Now they're nowhere near 'good enough to come back up'.
