  1. Tiote's disallowed goal against Man City saw some pundits and ex-refs being smart-arses and explaining why due to the different phases of play it was the correct decision, then Man City (or some similar cunts) scored exactly the same goal, no offside was given and no-one even mentioned the possibility it was offside. I think with video refs it would be the same outcome, ours would be referred to the video ref and disallowed, a big team's wouldn't.
  2. "Looks like the referee is going to send this one up to the Nike™ VidRef, brought to by booking.com - you got it bookin' right" Followed by camera trained on a screen like this http://i.imgur.com/PGybjgX.png
  3. Or as any other club would say "For every Mansoor, there's a Ken Bates or Mike Ashley"
  4. Looks like he should be sitting on Pink Lane with a dog on a string. http://i2.chroniclelive.co.uk/incoming/article10581773.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/JS78500405.jpg
  5. He's a personification of everything wrong with football, business, England and humanity in general.
  6. Did this earlier in the year, noble defeat to Arsenal, 0 points, pathetic captitilation to nothing teams, 0 points, noble effort against Chelsea, 1 point, good effort against Man U, 1 point, twatted by Palace, 0 points. Good way to go down while looking good doing it.

    Steve McClaren

We've been very consistent this season.
  8. Should have had a pen, should have been able to win without it against a poor side.
  9. Pav is genuinely a lovely guy. I used to go watch the lads train, and out of all of them, he was the nicest bloke. He obviously loved meeting the fans and he'd stay out as long as there were people there, talking to people, signing autographs, always smiling, joking with people. Here's me with Pav when I was an awkward... 11 year old maybe? He's got an Asics top on so must have been our first or second season in the premier league. http://i.imgur.com/Gdhv4mF.jpg Really hope he makes a full recovery, and hope he gets some songs today.
  10. Happy feast of Winter Veil!

Yes, in the same way as Pardew loves playing front-foot football.

  13. Been having a peak over the wall at what the Villa fans are saying. Completely agree, biggest game for Villa in a long time. Season defining game, actually more. The outcome will determine Villa's future as a club for years to come. At least the game is in the afternoon and will certainly be televised across the world so everyone (with TV) can watch it.

I thought someone who knew them said they were neutrals taking in a game while they were in the city and they just did it for the lulz?

But if you were there, you would have seen that it wasn't just the three fans with the banners, it was the whole ground going absolutely fucking mental, celebrating like I've never seen on my 7 or 8 trips to Villa park. Only in the ground like, they were very magnanimous outside, think they were fucking terrified Anyway, yes, I'm openly spiteful about it. If it looks like they're going down and we're staying up, I'll book time off work to go down just to gloat.

They were celebrating like they'd won a cup. Leaping up and down and hugging each other. We wouldn't have done that.

Fuck that, I'm already painting my "Blub in the Brum" bedsheet http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/05/24/article-0-0513FC3E000005DC-846_468x357.jpg

I'll be giddy with glee if Villa go down like, I was at Villa Park on that fateful day and they were such small time smug cunts.
  19. Well we've got pretty much all our points fro televised matches, so that's a decent omen.
  20. Needed those points like, dunno where that performance came from, finally had a bit of bite. But like has been said, where the fuck was it for the other games? We've had good games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U as well, but that's not where we need to be picking up our bread and butter points. Negatives to take from the game were the constant sports direct adverts trying to sell Liverpool shirts to people in China and the fact the "Mag-pie" is now just a standard sized mince and onion pie.
