I'm starting to think Mike Ashley isn't a good fit as an owner.
-
Pen shoot outs count as shots on target, right?
-
Commentator in Brucey sympathy mode, "He's been under a lot of scrutiny, had to win the fans over, and a cup would have been a good way of doing that, a win tonight would have given then a cup run, or maybe a trip to Wembly and a trophy" (ignoring the fact if we can't beat Newport we can't beat who we get next round.) Then realises he's let on he's already written this game off because we're so shit we're out of it with 20 minutes left and quickly follows up with "Oh, erm, or still might be an opportunity, of course."
-
BTEC Red Bull. Really? Sounds like something you'd find on the Serengeti. It's another name for a reindeer, but the cup is sponsored by an energy drink named after that.

BTEC Red Bull.

How many shots on target in how many hours now? But Rafa played too negative

The diabetus? Constant thirst is an early symptom.

Changed the wording from "shots" to "shots on target" after the game and then settled it as a loss

"Av 'ad me Kit Kats already. An the sausage rolls"

Clubs can't afford it. So we should pay for it? Theoretically...if we'd drawn Sunderland would anyone be up in arms if they asked us to.pay for their testing? I suspect there would.be a massive almost universal pisstake...and not a single voice saying we should Are we assuming the main reason other clubs are paying for their lower league opposition to be tested is as a gesture of goodwill, and not because they don't want their 50m striker to be quarantined for two weeks when they find out the lad who was man-marking him all game has started getting symptoms?
-
bruce should wear a facemask anyway. i cant stand watching him sticking that fucking tongue out all the time. Dunno, I'd be worried if he stretched a mask with straps over his face it's be like one of those stress balls you get in a net, with jowls and nose lumps prolapsing out all over the place.
-
A rousing "pogo if you love the toon" after those two early goals would have spurred the lads to victory.
-
I struggle to comprehend how we can get any more basic than that turgid 4-4-2 We'd end up like this
-
Well if he's been useless for ages, it's perfectly possible we have an old version back, just from like 5 years ago.
-
I reckon most fans and pundits probably think he got more points than Rafa last season, just because while he was on higher points then the previous season after the same games it was brought up constantly, and then when he finished on lower points, they just stopped talking about it and no longer made the comparison.

And two against teams that finished with 10 men.

just had a look on their website. the home kit is even nicer. last season's weren't too shabby either. Have they sponsored themselves? Power move.

More out of laziness than anything else, I haven't cancelled my season ticket renewal. No free matchpass passwords for ticket holders to watch these games legit I'm guessing?
