  1. yeah we also avoid draws by way of multi-ball overtime. any other absolute knee-slappers from your 1980's book of sick american football burns you'd like to post TT?
  2. State of those sandals you're lucky to not be in forum jail tbh.
  3. Grammar was too casual imo Oh wow, so I made mistake as I was typing too quickly. Fucking hell, kids - you laughed so much that you'll certainly be getting a good night's sleep tonight! Typos are our chief source of laughs, it's true. People have been buried for less - myself included - so it seemed odd it had escaped 3 pages without comment. There was no malice in my post.
  4. not one word about "evolves around" then? i <3 dinho lad btw
  5. Poor seems like a tad exaggerated, they're both internationals. If that's poor what adjective best fits the like of Joselu? godfuckingawful

  7. to emerge as a headline worthy target highlights both the depths of our desperation and our crippling brokeness.
  8. It'll be Tom Hardy who gets nicked and he can afford his own legal fees
  9. Torn between my two teams. I hope he stays in Atlanta.
  10. In Ashleys world...in reality it was WELL under 100 million. The 112.2m figure included promotion bonuses and "onerous contract provisions" payment to players not in the first team but still employed by the club. So wages are probably around 70-80m total as a base before any bonuses etc. There absolutely should be money available if this was a sane world. Well I don't believe that for a second. For one the 'onerous contract provisions' takes into account future years I believe. Also, theres no way our base wage bill is anywhere near 80m. This link suggests less then £50 million for the season after in the Prem: https://talksport.com/football/308730/every-premier-league-club-ranked-their-total-wage-bill-2016-17-171109261432/ Why would anyone give Ashley any benefit of doubt though really? https://www.nufc.co.uk/news/latest-news/accounts-year-ending-30-june-2017 I mean it was in their actual accounts filed so whether or not there was some funky accounting is irrelevant, it's the number out there. But if it accounted for future years then there should be even more left for this year etc. That's all. Anyone quoting over 100m is clearly taking a look at that figure and not realizing the caveats.

  12. What a ridiculous article: "Newcastle have spent just $17.5 million on two players in the current transfer window but Benitez is lobbying hard to get his man." Who have we spent 17.5m dollars on? where the fuck did he get that from
  13. Every other interview he drops the read-between-the-lines "I read your paper; your readers, the fans, are smart. They understand the situation." line(s) which is probably as far as he'll push it. Not hard to decode sympathizing with a dismayed and angry fanbase in that context.
  14. How do i unsubscribe from AshFacts
  15. They'll say they were uncomfortable handing that money to Rafa who wouldn't commit his future to the club and people will believe it.
