Would agree with this. Good performance the whole game even a man down, instead of just for the odd 20-30 minutes here and there we expect under Pardew.
taking the lead twice, once while a man down, and playing along the deck this has been a good showing by us (MYM/set piece defending aside!!). Liverpool have looked lethargic mind but I haven't felt embarrassed watching this like I thought I would.
There have been a number of forgettable Argies near the start of the century - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_foreign_Premier_League_players
But there's no excuse not to play those two. Tevez and Masch both arrived with excellent credentials. I don't think this is hindsight bias either; at the time everyone was wondering why they weren't playing. It was an error.
yes, yes, we can all remember the marches for tall equality, the oppression and social injustice suffered by the lanky for centuries ... it's basically the same thing really.
I was that arsed. Mick defended him against claims he was the next Boumsong and that liking Coloccini "was settling for 15th JUST LIKE UNDER MCKEAG" from the usual suspects at the time. So well done Mick
