bald fraud chequebook manager if we're being honest. manages just 2 cl wins with an all-time barca side juiced to the tits with horse adrenaline.
-
a loss is never satisfying but this is just one you take on the chin because, jesus, did liverpool even get out of 2nd gear? yeah, yeah, shite ref and all but at no point did I think this had "upset" written on it. at worst the takeaway is it highlights how much more improvement we need all over.
-
Yeah. We've improved leaps and bounds under Howe but we're still well behind these; arguably the best club side in the world. Not to mention playing strikerless. To get something from games like this as the underdog you do need the rub of the green and we don't look to be getting any of it today.

Joe's definitely swung on someone who accidentally bumped into him at the disco

am i high or is our purple GK kit actually gorgeous

Birtles laying into Krul Honestly the negativity is refreshing

I don't particularly hate you, Norwich, but when Big Joe's ruthlessly dunking on you it's time to take a season down to regroup.

just came dangerously close to complimenting Bruno, someone might have slipped him some E.

crowd not having any silence for the knee and hell, I respect it.

he's so fucking miserable i love it
-
The hints of it were obvious even then but he's brought a lot of aggression and confidence to the side and I love it. No idea how Emery would or wouldn't have done but I can't imagine any doing much better than Howe has.

The fact the dressing room / training ground isn't a depressing purgatory has changed the players in how they respond to Zaha types too. There's actually a little bit of cockiness/attitude to us that's been missing. Noticed it growing for a while.

Think I've watched that goal 50 times. From Willock picking it up until it's buried in the net ... the last time I remember sounds like that was Emre's goal against Reading (edit: looked it up, 2006. lol) pickig it up in the center circle and driving on himself. I'm sure someone can remember something more recent but there surely haven't been many.

absolutely baffling decision by the dubster there
-
if anything the VARccine deniers should only be surprised the monied interests in the sport took this long to be fed up with duff human officiating and seek better alternatives. edit: to be clear for the slow kids, I'm not even saying VAR is necessarily better. I'm saying it's them seeking better.

Yeah it's a night and day difference to how ASM can play when Wilson is the other threat up top and not Wood. Highlights both how much we need him back and how much we need to strengthen there* in the summer regardless. * - I mean we need quality everywhere but good god almighty Wood was nothing against Spurs and even that was enough to keep Gayle out.
-
yeah he's not great at all and I don't think there's much more Howe or anyone could squeeze out of him with a change of systems or personnel around him. the cost was unfortunate circumstances. even chris wood doesn't think chris wood should cost 25m. but it's also not like he'll be starting many, if any, games next year and this eases my stress about him considerably, given my only hope for this season post-takeover was survival and with 8 to 10 games to go and 9 points clear I'm fairly comfortable.

I think spurs might have some good players and a good head coach
-
We'll get nothing and we deserve nothing. Played like absolute shit against 10 men like we were the ones holding out for a draw.
-
Bruno's absolutely getting a card before the half
-
First half was excellent, second was duff. Our run has been amazing but today was a good reminder that it's been more about playing out of our skins and that we still have a squad a bit light on quality and who will tire and make mistakes. What Howe's done is give that group the belief and spine to not let their inevitable mistakes get to them. Persevered for a win and I can't argue with that. No one was godawful overall, though they may have had spells of not-so-goodness.

A lot of the KSA criticisms - all valid btw - I saw on social media get packaged with some sly or not-so-sly dig at NUFC supporters as well. Then when one of us is unhappy about that completely unnecessary dig, it gets framed as being unhappy about the criticism as a whole, proving we're all brainwashed and sportswashed. It's baby trolling 101. The whole engagement is intellectually bankrupt.

watching Atleti - Manu and having my first proper rich club thought of "i hope we bid 200m for joao felix in the summer"
