Ideal scenario would be that he leaves and we get a left winger/striker in. Ba's a good player but under Pardew we don't flourish as a team with him as the main man. I'd love to see what a decent manager could do with our team.
How do the fixtures for the premiership work? I've just noticed that who ever we play, Sunderland play their rivals. Last three games we have played Sunderland have played their rivals? Has it always been like this or is it just a coincidence?
Ba leaving doesnt bother me too much. At least cisse wont be out.wide anymore and we can grow as a team. Under a manager that could.play both cisse and ba togethrt i would be gutted.
So many players like him make a huge reputation for themselves then turn shit. Palacios, Diarra x3, Appiah, Muntari just a few examples, look awesome for a bit, then I dunno what happens to them.
He's probably out of confidence because he's stuck on the wing. The man is a goal machine, wonder how Shearer or Ferdinand would have faired if they were stuck out wide. It's not like he has any of the qualities to play out there at all.
Imagine if you scored 12 in 13 then got told "actually your going on wing for a bit, our other striker wants to be the main man" I'd be furious.
Was my favourite player of all time. Couldn't believe it when he signed for us. Sexy goal against Palace but never really got a chance here, under Robson it would have been different.
Bramble was capable of having a MOTM performance against any striker. Didn't he mark Drogba out of the game in the 0-0 at SJP under Roeder? He had lapses of concentration, but he could be quality. You can't really say Williamson can be quality.
Just seems like James McClean to me. Nothing special about the lad apart from a good work rate. Has put in a few good crosses, but for the most part they are shit.
