So tough. Bruno and ASM are the best and who I enjoy watching the most. Joelinton and Burn for their personality and stories. Feels so harsh to not even mention the rest of the back four or many others but I just couldn't click anything but Joelinton. Still get the most feels when he does something good after what has happened during his time here.

Certainly the best since 03/04. We are playing a lot better football than the 5th placed Pardew team.
-
Almiron is getting close tbh. I had no belief whatsoever that he would ever have any end product.
-
That was 100% intentional by Robertson but somehow he hasn't even been booked in this game.
-
He really should have a chance to make the squad. I've watched most of Roma's games this season and Abraham has been poor, DCL has been pretty much injured for 18 months. Toney has never played for England iirc. Still expect Southgate to pick Abraham and DCL due to their past but it would be wrong.

Too many purples, Ashworth and the owners have fucked up.

Looked a bit lazy too in the first half, remember Longstaff sprinting past him to defend and someone else did the same. Still had a good game, just a bit poor on his own standards.
-
Yeah, Longstaff is very much a box-to-box CM who is popping up all over the pitch. Nothing like Butt imo.
-
Everton once again showing they are hard to beat. Loved the moment when both Coady and Tarkowski rushed in to block a shot.
-
Many said he was garbage in the first half due to that one bad pass in the first half. Thought he had a really strong 90 minutes and even Bruno was nowhere near as good as he was.
-
This ref is terrible for both sides.
-
Looks so bad when they are still allowed to make a concussion sub after the medical team cleared him to continue playing.
-
Bruno looks a bit lazy when they have possession. Many times one of our players has sprinted past him when defending.
-
Schär got skinned but love the awareness. Good chance the old Schär makes a rash decision and gives up a penalty.
-
Love that effort by Longstaff.

Something bad might happen, something good might also happen. I don't see the point in being scared of being successful. We might not get Europe the following year and everyone good wants to leave. We could also have a great European campaign that raises the profile of the club and helps establish us as one of the "big seven".
-
I just don't understand attitude like that. I was there in our last European tie a decade ago and it has been a long enough wait, no matter how ill-equipped our squad would be for it. If we miss out on few positions in the league the following season due to that, I honestly don't care.

We are bigger than PSG too!!!11

He's been there for few months and all the stars have been fit and motivated ahead of the WC. Bit early for conclusions like that.
-
He's played more in Ligue 1 than Anderson has played in PL, have we ruined Anderson's career?
-
I would say the WC is definitely a plus for us. Not that many of our players are going and we have a lot thinner squad that now gets a six week rest/another pre-season. Also possible January additions get to play more games than they would in a normal season. We have the momentum on our side but it's not as important as it was in the second half of last season. We are legit playing well now and fully 'deserve' the good results. NUFC are 5th on the expected points table, behind Brighton but ahead of teams like Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea.

My post wasn't at all a dig at Anderson, he's an exciting talent but the teams who are fighting for top 4 have £50-100m players on the same positions, even on the bench. It's just not fair to say that a 19-year-old kid who's yet to score or assist a PL goal could be our joker card in the fight for top 4.
-
People really need to manage their expectations with Anderson. He has potential but to have him listed as a possible reason why we could finish 4th instead of 8th? Calm down ffs.
