  1. I seem to be one of the few who don't want to see Everton relegated. One of my best mates is an Everton fan and in general as a fan I want to have as many traditional PL clubs in the league as possible. Us vs Leeds or Everton feels like a big match but Burnley means nothing to me. There's one another team I would like to have back for the same reasons but I don't have the balls to name it.
  2. Everton are doing really good here. Matip on Gordon could have easily been a pen.
  3. Aye, no one seems to believe it even after the replays.
  4. IMO he's the most important player when we are playing City/Pool and have even less possession than usually. Thought he had a great game at Anfield on a free role and had numerous good runs that troubled them.
  5. Considering the gut feeling you had with Bruno, he’ll be a SAF-level legend.
  6. Saka was pulling Azpi's hand, ridiculous decision and once again no consistency at all.
  7. February, March and April too. People were worried we might not get another point three games/9 points ago.

Fucking hell that Saka pen, absolutely hopeless officiating.
  9. I would have guessed 31-32, been around for ages.
  10. Was honestly scared he could get another yellow for the celebration in the stands.
  11. On penalties and I doubt ACON matters that much. Salah has 28+11 in all competitions for Pool, Mane 18+2. Don't know if it has been updated to include today.
  12. I don't think there's any way he's ahead of Salah.
  13. Robert's brace against Spurs has to be the best combo ever scored in the same match.
  14. Aye, I thought Chelsea would be closer to Man City and Liverpool but they are not really. Arsenal, Man Utd and Spurs are so far from them that big six is disrespectful to City and Pool.
  15. And then we keep him to be possibly fifth-choice next season? I could understand it if he was young but Gayle is done here and only question is if Wood will be third or fourth choice CF next season.

Absolutely and it's understandable when the referee has to make some decision even if he didn't see it properly.

I'm probably the biggest VAR fan here but even I think that the process is fundamentally flawed right now and who ever came up with the PL system should be sacked on the spot. For example referee isn't sure whether he should give a penalty or not but has to make some decision in anycase. Then VAR uses two to three minutes to come up with a decision before the referee makes the symbolical jog to the screen and stays with whatever VAR had decided. Why can't the referee just raise his hand and admit that he's not sure and has to see it again. Ref runs to the screen, watches few replays and makes a decision. Would be so simple and faster than the current process and also gets rid of the weird respect VAR has for on-field referee's decision and the similarly weird respect on-field referee has for whatever VAR comes up with. VAR could still intervene with anything that the ref had clearly missed despite thinking he got it right.

I've had this conversation hundred times but it's not VAR's fault, it's the officials that also make wank decisions on the pitch. If they can't get them right after replays, how could they ever get them right without any help?
  19. What could we possibly gain from that experiment and why would you love to see it?

You only saw it in the ground once from miles away but happy to be here having a go at VAR? Today was another proof that VAR is absolutely needed, Bruno's first goal would never have stood without some video help.
  21. Haven't seen a yellow for diving in ages, nice.
  22. He deserves to start but somehow we have some competition for CM places now. Ridiculous when so many had written off Joelinton, Shelvey and even Willock just six months ago.
  23. I had no idea before the transfer that he was this decent with the ball too. No-brainer to make it permanent, he'll be able to contribute for years even if we do go fighting for European places in near future.
