Eh? I recall him making one rushed pass that went out, other than that he has been faultless. Good on the ball. Agreed. Sorry, I was rushed. Looks comfortable on the ball and has done well defensively, but not sure at all about his passing or vision. Seems to pick the wrong option a lot and love his digs down the line. I've noticed that he often looks inside but Butt and Smith just aren't offering themselves, plus they can do nowt when they get it. His only options are to play it down the line or knock it long to the strikers.

Enrique and Charlie both played well I think, Faye's been excellent. As has been said, Butt and Smith have barely managed to complete a pass all afternoon.

Stoke (a) in the FA Cup - Pre-Match thread

Rather not have Smith playing obviously, but there's no-one else, so I'm pretty happy with that team. Shame about Habib like, I think he should take about a month off. -
What a thread.

I was going to mention that Andy Dun article. Apparently he's the "UK's Number One Sports Columnist." Number One Mong tbh.

Plenty of bitter souls in the media keep commenting on Ashley sitting with the fans, which is probably what he's getting at.

I hate the transfer window.

Selling Cole when we did rather than in the summer probably helped us actually, finishing sixth as we did. We mightn't have got so close to the title if we'd have the UEFA Cup to contend with.
-
We never signed Sir Les though till six months later, so how on earth you can justify that as understandable. Those six months were pretty insignificant in the great scheme of things though.

Stop it. Now.

Man Utd reject Newcastle bid for Wes Brown - SSN

Cacapa's shit. So are Lyon. And everyone who isn't that Russian guy that everyone raves about that I've never heard of. -
So it's not even "nufcblog", whichever 14 year old's website of the year contender that might be, it's some daft kid making a comment on nufcblog. Here's a suggestion lads: ignore it. Why it even gets passed as worthy of mention is beyond me.

A link today, a dubious one, but one that sends shivers down even the most hardened Allardyce supporter What link? Apparently we bid on a another player today as well as Copperheed, a player who currently plays for an EPL club. Someone else ran that that player is Nolan. The spuds fans think its matty Taylor. "Someone"? Spurs fans? Christ almighty, welcome to the transfer window. Gets worse on here every time.

Sorry, why the fuck are people talking about Nolan? Have I missed something?

He's actually pretty good, great in the air, two good feet though he's left footed, very strong, not Bellamy quick but has plenty of pace nevertheless and has a excellent touch.

BlueStar on form.

Don't rate him. -
Remember that goal he scored at Derby to spark a 20 minute comeback from 2-0 to 2-3? What a strike.

I have to admit, it's a lot easier to say folk shouldn't leave when, like me, you've got a two minute walk to the pub. I've always insisted on not leaving since I heard the roar of Victoria Park when Damien Henderson equalised for Hartlepool in stoppage time, with my dad having dragged me out to avoid traffic.
-
I've only ever left SJP early once, like JJ7 against Birmingham, when they scored their 4th. Generally speaking I don't agree with leaving early, especially in games where a goal will change things. I don't blame anyone for leaving early tonight though. The players fucked off at half time so other people who weren't getting paid for it were entitled to bugger off early tbh.

Didn't someone on here say the other day that we looked strong in the late stages of games? We look spent at half time. Last three games at home, we've gone in the better side and then come out and put in 45 minutes of absolute dross.
-
Really? I thought he looked quality. Comfortable on the ball and strong in defence. I know it was only half an hour or so but certainly didn't look out of place for me.
