at least you agree that mod decisions are being made differently when my name is anywhere near the thread but you're right, can't see why anyone would have issue with that p.s. did you catch my thread in CG before it was pulled? could have helped you out a bit if it wasn't started by me I guess.. Where did I agree to anything like that? You get treated like you're a wanker because you act like one all the time. Either change your MO or get used to it. Stop pissing everyone off then playing the victim when they inevitably react. Jesus, even dumb animals can be trained, Vic, you just keep coming back and repeating the same mistakes time and again. bullshit. that poll would not have been touched had it not been started by me. notice the difference in treatment between that poll and this thread. OUR SURVEY SAID... X

New discussable development, nothing wrong here. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. oh right, so you saying there was no Chroncile article the last time? There was no quotes, no developments, nowt. Now you can either give it a rest or you can go and sit in the naughty boy's corner in General Chat because I'm sick to the back teeth of you rattling on about this like you've had your fucking rattle confiscated.

4-4-2, Carroll and Oba up front frst half, Owen and Shola second.
-
Still suffering from that ankle he crocked against Reading I believe.

Wullie i'm interested to know whether carroll has much chance of making a PL standard forward. i know it was against hartlepool, but did he have any sort of PL player presence or did he look like the type who will fade away, if you know what i mean. also what about betram, lough and francis. Solid but unspectacular really, won lots of headers as you'd expect, only thing really of note was a snap volley from about 20 yards which forced a great save, showed good technique in doing so. Not sure he'll ever score many goals but I don't think it's implausible for him to become like Crouch, he's got a decent touch for a big bloke, as the old cliche goes.

There wasn't much defending to be done (first half anyway, second half Ramage and Huntington made it look like we were playing Brazil) but Rozehnal looked very comfortable on the ball more than anything. We played some good stuff on the deck first half, with their keeper saving brilliantly from Carroll, Barton and Martins. Second half we undid them with flair more than anything, N'Zogbia came out of his shell and performed, while Shola and Troisi were skinning them for fun.
-
Decent game with a canny atmosphere. We played ok both halves, apart from some comedy defending in the second - Ramage couldn't even cope with League 1 players ffs. Didn't look like anything wrong with their second and it was right in front of me. Best players - Barton, Troisi, N'Zogbia and MOTM for me, Shola.

Same reason Geremi's not fit, neither went to Austria so they're a week behind.
-
I can't bear it either.

I wouldn't be shocked if Spurs cashed in. His ability to put a decent cross in has always been questioned, his desire to improve it seems to be dwindling. Also looks like Mido will go to Boro if the two clubs can agree how the fee should be paid............ ITK mind-reading at it's finest. If he put the same amount of time on the training ground that he does clubbing, he'd be a worldbeater. I don't have to be physic to work that one out. Who, Lennon or SWP?
-
Has it? Oh well fuck it then, I'm off to play football. If anything interesting was said, hoy it up, save everyone having to trawl through shite about Rangers.

I understand this is happening soon/now, better to have a separate thread to that of the investigation, especially for those of us without SSN. Keep us updated folks.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?view=DETAILS&grid=&xml=/sport/2007/07/16/sfnnew116.xml Telegraph re-wording the NOTW nonsense, barely re-wording actually, more like a copy and paste.

Geremi scores a wonderful chip for Boro against Leeds, with his left foot too.
-
I can see the point you're trying to make, but Man Utd and Liverpool have spent £50m each this summer already, near enough - both bankrolled by new owners, particularly Liverpool. The playing field has changed drastically in the last few years. If we want to have a hope of catching the big four, we have to spend - not £58m on one player perhaps, but we do have to write some big cheques. Unfortunate, the way it was historically was much better, but that's the way it is. Also your point about Leeds and West Ham is flawed - they didn't/haven't bought big names. Obviously we've not seen the result of West Ham throwing money about yet, but as far as Leeds went, their problem wasn't big money on quality players, it was big money on average players. West Ham seem to be following suit, though thankfully for them they've actually got the money.

Bit of a difference between Owen & Ronaldinho though isn't there? Well quite.
-
In fairness to KaKa, I said I'd be devastated if we signed Owen and I stand by that, we fucked up royally imo. Ronaldinho? I'd fucking love it. Hypothetically of course.
-
Aye, there's nee chance they'll get £20m for Crouch man. That story about Ronaldinho was just about the only thing that could have been more ludicrous than the Crouch one.

Came across it ten minues ago, spent those ten minutes in fits of laughter. I wasn't going to post this in a new thread cos it was such drivel, but now that you have...
