  1. riiight. you know how the law works right? job titles are kind of an important thing so I'm told No so, when he is talking to a develoment company, or the inland revenue, or the FA, he has no legal status with which to do so? he won't be doing any of those things. Regardless of his title, he now has no power or responsibility. Allardyce reports to someone else, and there is a new owner. as if you know any different FFS From the person who said Shepherd was going to buy back the club.

While I'm thinking, don't know if it was posted on here, but there was a decent article in the Observer last Sunday about the state of English football from grass-roots level: http://observer.guardian.co.uk/sport/story/0,,2121414,00.html It's a subject I'm always interested in reading about, why some countries produce talent like a conveyer belt and other countries produce absolutely fuck all, same for clubs too really to a lesser extent.
  5. £10.5m for Kieran Richardson and Michael Chopra - no matter how you look at it, that's scary. Why do managers of English clubs go abroad so much? There's your answer.
  6. Don't read em! I don't. There's still something rather worrying about grown men getting excited about pictures of academy kids who won't even be there next week. Each to their own though.
  7. why are you talking about who's going to be captain now we have new information? this is an irrelevent discussion! /cat fondling mod We don't have any new information you halfwit.
  8. Dear me. Must be just me then. I'd be worried if our players weren't doing that in training, never mind excited if they were. Even my Smoggie mate found it funny and not in the least bit exceptional.
  9. it's a training ground goal, against a defender who,at this stage of training has probably been told"harass, don't tackle" And the keeper should have saved it. "Sensational" it is not.
  10. These threads make me want to cry. Who's this? Who's that? Who cares?
  11. All the Boro fans are creaming themselves over a video of Tuncay scoring a goal in training that's been put on youtube, it was the 6th most watched video of the day yesterday, Slaven was raving about it on the Legends last night: http://www.mfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,1~1072094,00.html Now here's the video: It's hardly Maradona is it?
  12. oh god. it's not like any poll in the fucking history of the internet never had a joke option 50 cent! fucking donut I don't mind being a donut thankyou very much, I like donuts. you would seriously, this guy as a mod? as in actually allowed to make decisions? has he even made a good call yet? you're (sic) not getting the fucking point as usual
  13. Tough. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=41602.0 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=41207.0 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=42173.0 Here's three recent captain discussion topics and two nice polls for you to vote in. Enjoy.
  14. Deal with it sunshine, you're getting on my fucking tits.
  15. Mmm, probably Emre and Barton to start off with, see how they go.
  16. You're right about those Butt goals in that friendly, most definitely the turning point. He got booed on in that game and cheered off!
  17. Summed it up perfect!!! I've not started any. Better than Tevez tbh.
  18. Obviously we don't know what formation Sam's going to play as yet, we know he's favoured 4-5-1/4-3-3 in the recent past, (personally I hate that formation and hope we go 4-4-2 because it'll get the best out of our best players imo, those being our strikers) but if he is going to go with a central midfield 3, we definitely need one more midfelder at the very least, probably two. Beyond Emre (made of glass), Butt (getting on) and Barton (will suffer suspensions at best, jail time at worst), we've got fuck all in the middle other than out of position wingers (young Charles and Milner) and Kieron fucking Dyer. If we get Duscher in - I don't know much about him, but he'll probably do for the competition with Butt - we still need one creative attacking midfielder, preferably one with a few goals in him. Barton's a good player and I like Emre more than most (influenced by Pro Evo fo'sho, but when he's playing well, he's superb) but we cannot rely heavily on either of them.
  19. I've let it grow, you should see it now! http://www.core77.com/reactor/images/04.05_combover.jpg ?
  20. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=42575.msg912977#msg912977 So fuuuuuuck you! Mind if I don't get it, I'm gonna start charging you rent, sunshine.
  21. Right back, two left backs, a centre back and some creativity in the centre of midfield.
  22. Fulham offered 25 grand more than sunderland! Looks like Big Niall's Big Bucks are not so big. I rather wish they'd signed him actually, they might buy a Premiership standard defender instead.
  23. If they pay £5.5m for Kieran Richardson, I'll probably laugh one of my lungs up.
