  1. You seemed to think £5m was a good deal since he'll get 15 in the league. If that's your opinion, then I fear for your sanity. I don't think that however, I don't think you've got an opinion on anything, apart from maybe Big Brother, I don't know if you're contrary in that thread. I'm not moronic enough to watch it so I don't go in it.
  2. gardens need bullshit to grow, and there's a plenty in this here piece of journalism from Fat Sam, sorry little mickey, so I guess very well As Shepherd sells, the cockney's head swells and leaves ruined threads all in a row was the answer I was looking for tbh. I love your definition of ruined tbh 100 pages of Mick vs. NE5 in any random thread = fine post from me doubting a comment from Owen in a thread about Owen (plus about 5 other people doing the same) = OMFGZZ!!!11 thread ruined, Vic being contrary !!!!1111 We've locked more NE5 vs Mick threads than you've had pre-dates. Earlier on you claimed that NUFC were wrong to sell Chopra and that he'll get 15 league goals. If that's not contrary, I don't know what is. Give your head a shake, you're boring as fuck.

  4. Vic, how does your garden grow?
  5. Christ you talk shit. I suppose you can explain the languge used then, or the timing, or the content, or the lack of certain topics or information no? thought not Micheal Owen impressed by mountain bikes and foot doctors? my fucking arse It's his words put into some sort of readable form by an editor, how stupid are you? Have you never read an article by a footballer before? What do you think, Michael Owen sits at a computer with a can of Fosters and a pack of Hobnobs and writes it himself? Dear God man.
  6. I hope he goes the way of their last two former NUFC youth signings off us - one refused to play for them against us, and instead went and wore an SMB t-shirt, the other scored an own goal for us in the Derby. Nice.
  7. Who are these people? What is the hierarchy? Cheers Toontastic (Phil) and CoachHTT (Chris) are the founders and owners of this place, and they're the ones who pay for it.
  8. Who's us? I didn't realise Gateshead had signed them three?
  9. Be VERY careful in this thread please people. Thankfully the Sheff Wed thread saves me having to explain why.
  10. There was similar on a Coventry board a few years ago - one bloke called the chairman a 'rogue' and the club went after them under the dictionary definition of the word, claiming that it effectively accused him of being a thief.
  11. I can certainly say I don't want cheating scumbags in our team... and Deco is one of biggest serial divers in the game. He can find another club if he wants a move. Yup, one of the best players on the planet but not for us. Not if he dives. No way. Sam wouldn't allow that imo. Anyway who gives a fuck at the end of the day?! If he wins a dodgy pen to win us a tight game, I certainly won't be complaining. Gerraway man, Bolton have been serial divers over the years.
  12. I bet clubs who have been relegated, lost cup games etc.. think its worth the time and effort. They should be happy with the ref and linesmans decision tbh, it's the same for both teams and you could argue with any decision. They should be happy with a wrong decision that denies them points that they've won fair and square by the rules of the game? The linesman is at pitch level 30 yards away behind a goalpost. How can he see through a goalmouth scramble?
  13. You act like it happens two or three times in every game, can hardly remember any such incidents from lasts eason for us myself. Martins vs Chelsea in the CC. Correct decision in the end, just.
  14. If they've had a perfectly good goal ruled out, then I'd say the ref is a pretty good "excuse" don't you? What's the point in scoring this 'easy goal', as you seem to think it is, if you're not going to be allowed to have it anyway? Don't you think the interests of fair play are a bit more important than a 'decent debate'?
  15. What a ridiculous thing to say. Ditto the Sheff Utd comment.
  16. I would say that the best way to do it would be for the ref to blow up immediately, as if ruling a goal, then check it out. And then everybody stands around for a minute before they restart? How would they restart the game? Fair point. What nufc4life just said is probably the best way, they're in constant contact anyway these days I believe. It only takes a split second to check, as Wimbledon this year has showed.

  18. I'm sorry but this is a rubbish argument, how often is it not obvious whether a goal has gone in or not. Not very. It will become nothing like American football. It can be used sensibly to check dubious looking goals. Players arguing about a dubious looking goal will take up more time than this Hawkeye system would to return a result. That's not what he said though, he was saying that it would become that way if it were introduced for refereeing decisions, such as penalties.
  19. Good stuff. Goal line decisions are too important to rely on the vision of someone for a split second 30 yards away whose view is obscured by a goalpost.
  20. The Spurs fans in that thread are so deluded, it's scary: "Berby is a much better player in nearly every aspect." How can you respond to people as stupid as that?

An 'equal chance' choice would have worked better I think, bit of a toughie to answer.
