That's nearly as funny as the official list of world class players from earlier.
  2. I voted for Duff. Personal dislike as much as anything.
  3. Good stuff. Still hoping we'll flash the cash a bit this summer but can't fault the dealings so far.
  4. I'm not, I just don't want him as first choice RB and I think a few appearances here and there for Chelsea in the absence of anyone else are making people think he's better than he is in that position. If he was any good back there, he'd not be going for nowt. that means all players who reach the end of there contracts and leave for free are s*** ? Not at all, but if Mourinho geniunely thought Geremi was a top class Premiership right back, don't you think he'd at least have offered him a new deal considering he's got no-one there that he really fancies atm? no-one says he's "top class" but good enough to play there for us or right midfield aswell at the minute.remember mourinho thought he was good enough to buy and keep around and use...........i wonder how many times he was in the first 16 ? He never bought him.

If he was any good back there, he'd not be going for nowt. didn't Chelsea offer Bridge to us on August 30 for next to nowt, says more about the club than the player agree that he's not ideal as first choice RB but he's a country mile ahead of anything we've played there in recent seasons Don't think they did, I've never heard anything more than "ITK" nonsense. Find it very hard to believe that they would, and even if they did, they'd just signed/were about to sign a £16m left back. They don't have anyone who Mourinho genuinely likes at right back.

  8. I mentioned Hilario because NSG seemed to think that someone playing for Chelsea meant they were good enough for the 'double champions', when that is not true, it meant they had a goalkeeping crisis in the same way they had a defensive one that meant Geremi had to play. Boularouz spent most of the season out injured, he's a centre back first and foremost and Mourinho clearly doesn't fancy him anyway, so you can pretty much discount him - and with that taken into account, Geremi STILL only managed 15 league starts.
  9. Hilario's a good comparison because it shows shite can start for Chelsea if they have enough men out. Mourinho said at one point that we were well off with Edgar and Huntington, which tells you the extent of their defensive crisis. If Geremi was considered good enough to start ahead of those two, how come he only started 15 league games?
  10. Geremi has never ever played thirty games a season under Mourinho. 24 last season. No need to be petty over a few games, the point still stands. You just said he played 30 odd games a season! Last season, he started 15 league games - and that's the most he's ever played since Ranieiri was there. Your point doesn't stand. He was there to fill in because of a defensive crisis, same reason Michael Essien played at centre back. 30 odd, 24. A few games difference. considering Chelsea play roughly 60 a season I wasn't that far out. Chelsea play in more than the premiership as well. So I think my point is valid. Disagree if you like, it doesn't really bother me. No hold on, 30 odd means 30+. And you said "30 odd games a season" - which implies more than one season, otherwise you'd have said "30 odd games last season" wouldn't you? He's been there four years and started 48 league games, 25 of them under Claudio on the right wing. He is nothing more than cover and Mourinho knows it. That's why he's letting him leave.

  13. come on, Solano has done well for us there but you can't possibly think he's as effective as Geremi They're both right wingers who can do a job further back. Just because Geremi's played there for Chelsea doesn't make him any better. i know, but Geremi has the attributes to play back there. Solano has the intelligence and very little else I agree Geremi is infinitely faster, stronger and more athletic. Also a better tackler. We'll see. I'd rather not have a right winger who Boro fans thought shirked his defensive duties at right back. Nah, I'd rather have a player whom Jose Mourinho considered good enough to play there for the double champions. Oh right, we'll sign Hilario too then, yeah? Fucking hell.

  16. Geremi's no more a right back than Nobby is. Probably less.

  20. Good question! They were inflicted on us by the same w*nkers who decreed that we will play in all-white rather than our traditional colours for the last 100 years. The same w*nkers who replaced the red rose of lancashire with a couple of ribbons on our club crest. Then your opinion is valid. Caaaaarry on.
  21. Many BWFC supporters were very disgruntled with the football we played under Big Sam. At best it was functional and regimented, at worst it was absolutely dire. True we were successful but crowds have fallen steadily and in part this can be attributed to the football we played sometimes. What's your stance on cheerleaders, music and those wankers with a flag each?
  22. That was Marco Branca. Both played for Boro.
  23. Agree with all of that.
