Didn't see Adebayor do too much wrong tbh, Eboue should have gone but Bridge did the Chelsea schooled thing and went down like a sack of shit. Having to have water poured on him ffs.

Roeder has an annoying tendency to pick the youngsters in order of age and experience rather than ability. I've no doubt that when Ramage comes back, he'll be again selected ahead of Edgar and Huntington.

Very poor result and a very poor performance. Undone by a missed penalty (change things around Nobby man ffs) and an excellent goal but the second half performance was atrocious. Don't think we had a shot until Carroll came on.

Blimey, that's worth a crack. You got any money on that? I reckon the only one that won't happen is, unfortunately, NUFC. Worth a crack like at 400/1. Gonna do that mate, cheers. EDIT: added Scunthorpe winning League One to the bet, they're 7 points clear so I thought I might as well, got odds of 803/1 at Bet365. Got £2 on. As I say, I reckon Newcastle will cost me it. Only 60/1 without us.

Bein fair, we did struggle though! we were poor last nite. They wouldn't say that if it were Boro. We "struggled" because we're Newcastle United and the rest of the North East clubs, subconciously or otherwise, see us as a European force.

Definitely not offside for me. Clearly level, possibly even slightly behind the defender in the middle.

Here's our Graeme, to really make you feel like shite[/Cilla]

From one angle, the defender who was supposed to have fouled Johnson wasn't even in the camera shot when he started his swan-dive. Gerrard's first was a total embarrassment, truly pathetic to see from such a good player, as bad a display of "gamesmanship" (cheating) as you're likely to see.

It kinda makes me laugh when he moans about not being given a pen, He is a diver no doubts about it. If he wasnt English he'd be abused every week by the media. Gets away with it because he waits for "contact" and they don't have any theatrical falls to look at, also makes it easy for his defenders to justify it. If slight contact is enough to send a grown man and professional sportsman crashing to the ground every single time, he needs to get himself to a fucking doctor. Some of the "contact" he goes down under, and gets penalties for, wouldn't knock my Grandma over.

Can't wait to see this Johnson pen. Very possibly the Premiership's biggest diver, but clever with it. Cheating bastard.

Not even a contest. Charlie every day of the week.

Well said, it's the "grass is always greener" principle. Douga reckons Milner can't beat his man. Aye, the same way Shay can't make a simple save and Martins can't hit the ball very hard.

"Tell all the boys you know, Newcastle are going to Glasgow! We've been to Germany, we've been to Italy and we'll lift the cup in Glasgow! Tell all the boys..."
-
Oh, I've never been. It's rubbish. Next!

God, not the "poor crosser" again. The reason Milner puts in poor balls every now and then is because of the amount of crosses he puts in. Why don't people say Duff can't cross? Answer - because he doesn't even bother fucking trying. Milner's a victim of the way he can rape a full back for fun and always get the ball across. Occasionally one goes out or gets cleared - big fucking deal.

Played well tonight I thought. Him and Nobby ran the show in the first half down the right.

Someone said it's not happening apparently.

Very true. Don't expect many to believe it though. Ok, well there's already at least two threads talking about Craig Bellamy and his relevance to NUFC, so his "very very relevant point" can't be anything to do with that despite the title, if it is, then the thread is nailed on to be locked anyway. I'd LOVE you to explain what a Travelodge in Newcastle City Centre has to do with NUFC or how it shows "how far NUFC have slumped", especially if you can do it without admitting mismanagement at board level in the process. Still, have a go though. I could do with a laugh. It would be more accurate to say you and the other mods are ignoring a thread that is being spoiled by certain individuals posting personal nonsense, they're getting with it probably because you agree with their football POV (whatever the hell that is, like). No doubt you'd be moaning and jumping on my case yet again if I was posting the personal tripe your mates are posting. If you don't get the point in CG's post and need someone to explain it to you then you need help to think "outside the box", but I certainly can't be arsed. Ask one of the boys spoiling the other thread to help you out. Didn't think you could.

 That really tickled me. I wouldn't hold out much hope for humanity in that situation.
