  1. It's like an AA meeting "Hi everyone. My name is Andymc1 and I..I...I'm a Pardew-hater." That's how I feel. It's the running joke in the local about how much I hate him and now I can't go in without someone trying to wind me up. After a few pints I bite and they go home happy, I end up raging. Sounds like me at work.
  2. I used to just discuss/read about football here and nowhere else. I need to start doing that again.
  3. "Another one out Mike, can I have some more money please?" http://mediaserver.dwpub.com/news/29645/16+April+Keith+Bishop.jpg
  4. Aye, some truly terrible teams. Villa look in big trouble, after their decent start they've lost their last 5 by an aggregate score of 0-13, that's some Pardew-esque results right there... Last season we lost six on the spin by 1-17.
  5. Do you wish they'd cashed in on Benteke after his first season, brummie? Let's assume a scenario where the money is all reinvested in the team.
  6. I wouldn't hang on your hopes on them useless cunts.
  7. BTW I love how apart from specifics, you could probably have created that post just by copy and pasting from bits of the Pardew thread.
  8. Will he be in the press fawning over Obertan this week, or has he found a couple of new players whose performance on a particular afternoon he can take credit for? An absolute hoot that he had to drag him off at half time. Proof if ever it were needed that he just makes it all up on the hoof and claims whatever goes right was his own personal masterstroke. "Credit where it's due" - it's fucking easy this Premier League manager lark like. Put proven shit in the starting line up, then take them off and lap up the bizarre credit for the improvement.
  9. Villa are ran as pathetically as us, just with less obvious drama.
  10. Ashley sacked him for Joe Kinnear and yet Llambias still can't resist lapping at Mike's hoop. Pitiful cunt.
  11. Imagine wanting somebody who has appointed Joe Kinnear twice at your football club, man. Thick as fuck.
  12. The amount of money he'll need to invest to push them ahead of Hamilton Academicals will be a pittance, then it'll look like "what a splendid owner that nice Mr Ashley is, if it wasn't for those stupid Geordies they could have had that too"
  13. The longer it goes on, the more it worries me that I'll never get that feeling back.
  14. Had been on for 15 seconds according to the BBC Sport report from that game. Sammy's will have been 7.something seconds? You might be right but find it hard to believe Chopra's was 15 seconds, was as long as it took for him to run from the bench to the area. Can't find the video on YouTube, definitely used to be one.
  15. Just don't complain when the mackems come and run riot again on our pitch.
  16. He's a superb player. This should come as news to nobody with a brain cell.
  17. Agreed, I don't think the CL is on his radar re: Rangers at all. It's not that easy to qualify now in Scotland, as Celtic have discovered, it's worth a fraction of the Premier League money and he's not even allowed to advertise without being an approved CL sponsor anyway. Mind, add that to the fact that Rangers' global fanbase will continue to deplete rapidly in the future given how much Scottish football has declined in the last 10 years and it's hard to see where he thinks there is much value there. It was typically the case when Rangers were in the SPL that sponsors would aid both Rangers and Celtic to avoid one side of the fanbase avoiding their stores. Thought it must be the case that SD have no presence in the Republic of Ireland and it looks like that's correct from a search on their website, he'd not be getting involved otherwise.
  18. Mong The bias in here is just daft. He had a fairly quiet game and got subbed after an hour or so. It's not the end of the World. Cunt. Playing for Hull City away at Anfield? His job is to try and create something within the 3 minutes of the 90 that Hull had possession, and he made their best chance. Thought the big issue with Ben Arfa was how lazy he is and how many goals he gifts the opposition. Funny how they've managed to get consecutive results at the Emirates and Anfield with him in the side like.
