  1. I had a vague recollection of Liverpool being really poor away last season. Results from the start of the season until April, wins in bold: Fulham 2-2 Man United 2-1 Everton 0-0 Arsenal 3-2 Forest 1-0 Spurs 1-2 Villa 1-3 Brentford 3-1 Brighton 3-0 Wolves 3-0 Newcastle 0-2 Palace 0-0 Bournemouth 1-0 Man City 4-1 Sometimes these things happen. It's the manager's job to put things right but it's also the supporters' job not to wet themselves and get on the back of a proven manager at the first sign of trouble, especially when his team is filling in the gaps by winning every home game as Liverpool were and as we are.
  2. When players are playing shite, game by game, or just on one day, you drop them/take them off. But we can't. It's not just about fatigue, we're not in a position to do anything different in terms of personnel. This is not normal for so long with so many big games. If we leave out Almiron or Gordon who plays in their stead? Matt Ritchie, an out of position full back or a 16 year old from the academy that everyone agrees is still a bit rubbish?
  3. Playing Saturday-Tuesday-Saturday is now "almost a full week off"
  4. The team had possession back again, it had absolutely no impact on that goal whatsoever lmao
  5. That is absolutely ludicrous.
  6. I think it was a now hidden post to the extent of "I hear he has personal problems" but posted in this thread by mistake instead of Trippier.
  7. If you're going to make a decision like that with a popular coach, you've got to take a risk that there's going to be a big upside - as we're now starting to maybe see at Bournemouth, or Pochettino when he went to Saints. Forest fans are going to be sceptical of Nuno from the off but you know what you're going to get with him and it's not particularly exciting or interesting, and he's not a coach on the up. Be very surprised if things work out for the better.

    In-house media

Not exclusive to the club media but they're the worst for it, I cannot bear the post-match questions that get asked of the local lads in particular. "How does it feel to score your first goal for Newcastle?" *Bland answer that it feels good to score a goal* "And you celebrated in front of the fans, how did that feel?" *Again, it was a good feeling, a nice feeling* "And you've won the game as well, how does that feel?" Please make it stop.
  9. I'd love to know how many bad tackles (as opposed to DOGSO/violent conduct) have been given straight reds on the field this season compared to previous seasons. Feel like the referees bottle it every time now and leave it to the VAR, struggling to think of any other than MacAllister vs Bournemouth (which was rescinded).
  10. Absolutely howling at him pulling Maupay up
  11. Luton have confirmed Lockyer suffered cardiac arrest again. He's thankfully ok but I fear that may be his career over.
  12. Why no BT game this weekend?
  13. The thing that annoys me most the day after is neither Bruno nor Isak taking a yellow to stop Jovic. Just bizarre.
  14. The seeding means any new club qualifying has the deck stacked against them.
  15. Exactly, I hope nobody takes that as a dig at him, he's been excellent and God knows what we would have done without him stepping up. But when a team like Spurs starts to tear through your midfield on their own patch, you really want some experience in there at some point, not just a kid who's still got homework to do when he gets home. He hasn't got a clue what to do in that situation because he's never been in it before.
  16. Because of the injury situation and because he's looked the part, it's just glossed over that Miley is now starting every game, twice a week, in arguably the most important position, against the best teams in the world at 17 when he's not even had a loan before. Like, that's mental. We look a bit naive in midfield recently? Never!
  17. Guardiola's team lose every game that Rodri is absent.
  18. I never in my life thought I'd see us dominate Man United like that, and I've seen us beat them 5-0.
  19. My bus to work stops right outside Jackson's, it's busier at 9am than most of the pubs near me are on a Saturday night.
  20. Shows how much attention I pay to these things outside bookings, Moldova could qualify tonight?!
  21. If Italy lose are they definitely out? Or is there another route to qualification, via Nations League or whatever? I'm completely lost on how it all works now.
