If we are to play Ranger, then the kid needs support up front. I'd be tempted to put Smith up there for the young'un to play off. That would leave Guthrie and Nolan in the middle. Problem is left midfield - Lua-Lua to replace Jonas?

I thought it was a poorly written piece when I read it yesterday - full of spite. However it is also a backhanded compliment to the way we've started our season. And long may our good form continue.

Football violence is nout new. There was a riot at St James between us and the mackems in the early 1900's. Kicked off big style that day too - remember reading about it in one of the toon history books. The authorities will always have bother eradicating this kind of thing - banning orders are one answer, but it won't stop the rubbish that goes on outside of grounds.
