Poor first half - Bolton have come for a point as they did last season. It's the type of game where we need a bit of guile/creativity in midfield. KK to kick some bottom at half time.

Sounds like we are desperately crying out for a quality playmaker in midfield.

The Companions Club is good, and doesn't mind little'uns coming in. It's just down from the Trent House (next to a newsagents), on Leazes Terrace (I think that's the street name)

The annoying thing was, that when we drove past about 10mins later - we saw folk at the back of the queue (a lad and his dad) that weren't there when we got turned away. :-/ Perhaps I should have argued with the security guy, given the lad I was looking after is classed as disabled (learning disability) Surely couldn't have done any harm squeezing a couple more in? .

Me and the lad I care for, were turned away at just before 215pm.

Shola's never let the club down and his European scoring ratio is bettered only by one Alan Shearer. As I said - he's not been in it for a couple of seasons now (mainly due to that hip problem) But for him to be on the end of some pretty rank vitriol is nothing short of shameful. Doubtlessly from the same characters who took it upon themselves to boo Alan Smith, last weekend.

I've always thought Shola was a bit hard done too by many of our fans. However, his career has stagnated here since Roeder left and he does need to move on. Wherever he goes, I wish him well. He's been a good servant to the club and some are very quick to forget that.

I'm on a week's holiday too.
