To put a little perspective in to this thread we just signed a forward who scores 1 in 2 and also for fun in champions league where we can only dream of being in right now. The very fact we announced the signing of this striker so late and then handed Perez a big contract answers the question that we TBF on this one. Maybe Pearce has a game plan like we had with Carroll but I dont worry about it as the ball is in our court right now. We can go forth with lots of forwards and then we have Siem to boot to alter our play.

Luke is applying some "force" with this one... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/12134785/.html

Will this guy need a work permit or perhaps he has an Italian grandmother?

Stats are 11 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions this season which is good but he looks like he could be Obafemi's dad. No way is he 28 like.

Was deffo in the Vermont on Christmas Day. Hopefully Stifler will accept it now.

That email was from Lee Charnley man. Probably, I didn't mention the t Email though I know its this continuation of poor decisions and timing by the club. McClaren has been led up the merry path again by this lot. Youcan see his coaching is having an effect.

If we have 50m to spend in Jan which we need minimum IMO. If you said to me spend £20m on replacing those in the boardroom, I would not think twice.

Apparently mocked for his shiteness by his clubs best CF according to the get frances francs football site

I read a news report he was on peanuts per week £150? With a 2k playing fee bonus per match. No wonder he wants to make ammends..
-
Does anyone know his stats for us i.e number of starts, time on the pitch, win %age, his assists and goals scored etc so we can put some perspective on his time here? Sure you can blame many factors but he is ultimately responsible for those factors he can influence i.e. assists, goals etc.

club are taking the piss out of Colo by showing a man who can control his wife and make her hold his shirt up. Onwards and upwards..

Interesting. I wonder if Carr has shares in it? Anyhoo Cabella can play that is a dead cert but his muscle strength matches that of an 11 year old when you see the pace he puts on passes/shots. Thauvin has always been wide slot numero uno so swapping him with a target further down that same list seems to be objective of the club.

After attending the Southampton game and watching yesterdays game I would honestly say our biggest weakness is LB. It needs resolving ASAP as Haidara is poor there.

A key point is isnt the last seasons playing "roster" employed until today including bonuses etc? Maybe tomorrows roster will start to be a bit different. Lets see, the euro situation will only make that 38m worth of pounds maybe an extra 10m euros on current rates. Who knows but regardless it will be IN our favour.

Needs a good supply but he should get goals according to some, and after the comments in the link below, he has gone on to Germany to do just that... http://sc.heerenveen.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=5614

Dave, the people in the game must recogise something. That statement above signifies (to me) that you ignore the fact he gave a shit when the owner, the MD, the former manager, the captain and all the players who didn't turn out when needed and he did. Was he signed as a certain starter, who knows, but he played regardless and gave a fuck so I stand by what I said earlier. Rubbish hcan be defined by many things in football but he woud be on that sheet ahead of a lot of the others for me.
-
He cost 12m less in euros anarl mind though, and lets not ignore one is basically an attacking player who was an absolute streak of piss who helped gain us how many points again in his role?

That isn't quite correct but not far off... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/competitions/premier-league/11447225/Revealed-the-Premier-Leagues-fittest-player.html Running around a lot isn't any indication of whether somebody is good Well by the same token it seems it doesnt do Matic any harm and most would love him here... Rather have George Boyd. Ha ha Wullie. You are now cracking jokes these days. As others have said, and I agree with, Colback gets unwarranted criticism here. There are much worse players on our books. This people He's the second worst player (after Williamson) that has been a guaranteed starter when available. Really howay man. Krul, Janmaat, Willo, Colo, Dummett, Colback, Sissoko, Cissé. Tell me which of the others he was better than. The captain? Krul was s**** too try kicking the ball in play sonna or an assist to the other team. Where is Tiote too? Oh to busy in a fettle calling us s*** It's a toss up between Colo and Colback. And I'll admit I just simply forgot about Tiote, easily done tbh. No Cabella or Rivierre or the other absente striker on the books who was Colos mate?
