Good player. You get 100% from him, he just needs time to settle like Jose did.
-
I hope Pards tells them to go for it second half. I'd like to see Marv at some point too.
-
Out for this long yet looked fitter and sharper than some. True pro.
-
The most stand out thing for me was fitness. Simpson who has been more out of the team made 90 mins no probs. Gouffran who has been in the team suffered from cramps. Ben Afra 1st half great and faded second imo. Strolla Ameobi gets tired walking. Some of our players need a kick up the arse.

It is still in our hands, Villa and Wigan can't both get to 44. Wullie being positive
-
You do realise we could be in the bottom three by Wednesday don't you? We needed to win today, and second half we showed no intent to. That's the issue. Aye but my glass is half full

A lot of people were saying they'd take the point. After two horrible performances we got that at a place few have won at. The fight was there and QPR is the one for me as they have nothing to play for. The Mackems have lost their best attacking playing and Wigan have lots of games coming up so lets wait and see. I am happy with this point today.

Why not he's quick, likes to bring the ball out of defence and has good recovery. All good traits to have as a full back.
-
Ironically, Fulham who we beat sit 11th with 3 more points than us. This season has been crazy.
-
He has also said we have been poor at set pieces. No shit sherlock.
-
What if the West Ham players do the same? Then we have a football match. At least then we have a chance.
-
I hope the players have the professional pride to turn up to this one and actually do what they are paid for.

Oh I'm not saying for a second that this is any silver bullet. Pardew and his ideas need to go. I just think we look like a bunch of schoolkids at the moment, all running all over the place. If we're going to pick up some more points, it might be worth putting players where they normally play and just telling them to stay there. Totally agree with this let them worry about us not us about them. Did anyone see our two full backs in the middle watch the players line up for a corner then realuse there was a liverpool player standing on the half way line onside?
-
Not for me but (IMO) but you posted it in the right thread.

This. When you are paid this well for one and a half hours per week you turn up. Never looked bothered and one loose ball was in the opposition box and from a standing start equal distance I think Carragher beat him to the ball. This didnt just happen once mind today either when balls were there to win.
-
If anyone was there today at every point we had the ball there was one man up top against a sea of red. You could have had a meadow full of horses between that man and the other 9 defenders at the back. When we didnt have the ball we play the game of chasing shadows whilst being in another time domain. Just horrible. Oh and the guy bottled it by the way he didnt strut that touchline like be loves too but hid in the dug out as the game wore on when he was needed most. Also there looked to be a few harsh exchange of words between Pards and Cabs at various points.

And has Everton playing far more like a Stoke than a Swansea. Not what I saw yesterday
-
Get him out and Moyes in. Everton are skint, yet he has his teams play with heart and desire and for each other. We have a great scouting network, transfer funds and 50k plus Geordies who will idolise him if he does with us what he has consistently done at Everton.

I'd like to think the ref will see that challenge at half time are put things right in the second half.
-
Worked hard and his hold up play was a lot better today which is the biggest weakness IMO. The isloation he has seen in the past could be helped by doing what he did today and chest, look for throw ins and corners as well as laying it off when under control to bring others in to the game. If he's only held his run for that split second when he went to early and the score could be so much different.

Really?? No contest if you ask me and the league table. Not disagreeing but not sure what the table has to do with it like. The league table is the thing that you get points on when you win games which Bale has happened to do a lot this season for Spurs. I think we all (well most) agree that Spurs are a one man team and they happen to be well ahead of us at this point.

For me Colo's game is about reading the game so much better than anyone else. He's been caught out way too many times this season for me which shows. He can cruise through a game doing the simple things but the challenge is always to outsmart and I haven't seen that for a a little while. We have the 90% Colo and we really do need the 100% Colo back.

He will play in Europe. I think Pards likes to ease certain players in who don't make the required impact. Anita has been good of late but did take some time to do that.
