Damn straight. Logically, if we want a fairytale season, we just have to keep him on! Imagine the Pardew wonderland we'd all be delighting in when he turns it around from this position and wins the league.

  5. Ha. Swanning. And you were talking about SWANsea Aaaaareet, funnyman. Just trying for some bird based punnage to keep my mind off the sodding game. Swansea look a million miles from rousing themselves out of their post cup slumber.
  6. Stop giving the ball away for fucks sake!!!!!!! Swanning around like they couldn't give a ruddy duck. Tits.

    Prem with Pardew. Ludicrous question.
  8. Pardew has two more wins than him since we met 2 months ago. Laudrup has two wins over Pardew. Two-che!

Comparing patronising a restaurant to supporting your club which (outside of any financial involvement) has all the emotional civic, community, and family ties that Newcastle United represents? Nah, not having that. So come up with a better analogy then, rather than resorting to your stock in trade of sneering haughtily at other people expressing themselves honestly and openly. Should make for good reading, if you actually bother to do something other than just sneering. I'm not sure there is something analogous as far as my life goes, and I just outlined why in my opinion someones relationship to a restaurant seems to me fundamentally different to how I see my relationship to the club. Sneering haughtily? Nah, not having that. /genuinely incredulous at the comparison, maybe.

  12. I admit I was looking for hints of help from them all through the match, but yeah, it certainly struck me that way at the time.
  13. Going to be an 11 goal cracker with a Cisse hatrick and a Gouffran brace.

Unless they are willing to name names, it's pretty obviously the ones writing spurious drivel about our players then getting all shirty.

This really, the fans have turned on him and when that happens it's just a matter of time. He may get 3 great performances and 3 results to end the season, and assuming that gives him the right to start next season as soon as we so much as see another poor performance have another poor result the chants for his head will start again. I honestly don't think the board are that stupid and ignorant to know that recent performances and results have not been good enough and to realise that it's almost certain that some of the players have lost faith in him and no matter what happens between now and the end of the season the fans will make it well known of our dislike for him in the Arsenal game. The club have made a difficult decision, and before the Liverpool game it was the decision the majority of us agreed upon, that is it would possibly do too much damage to sack him now then it would be to not sack him. I would agree with that - the only way he goes before the end of the season now is if there's another disastrous capitulation against West Ham. It would take something pretty special in terms of results and performances in these last 3 games to see him starting next season I reckon. Not sure the performances will have an effect on their thinking too much now as I reckon the decision to keep (and back him for whatever reason) or jettison him will have already been made. If he did stay, I wonder what it would actually take to get the majority of support solidly behind him again? A few trouncings. A cup? Two cups? A Champions league winners medal? There'd have to be some seriously fancy arsed football from the start to get people back on board, and it's a struggle to see how he'd manage that tbh. If the board see that too, then I'd think there's got to be significantly more chance than not that he'll be going.
  18. If you can hang on two ticks, HTT'll be along shortly to sort this one out for you. All the best, BottledDog
