  1. I think that's easier said than done, contractually. Still though, it should have been done. No doubt a minuscule amount of this is going to his charity while the club/sponsor/Adidas recoup the big money. Edit: NM i thought it was for sale, just for the game apparently.
  2. How nervous is the goalkeeper? Impressive stuff though.
  3. Think they should have scrapped the sponsor, or at least replaced it with the Bobby Robson foundation or cancer research.
  4. Sold out apparently. Newcastle to honour Sir Bobby with special kit http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/nechronical/sep2009/3/0/sir-bobby-robson-kit-102691370.jpg NEWCASTLE United and Ipswich Town will wear special commemorative shirts in memory of the clubs' former manager Sir Bobby Robson when they meet at Portman Road later this month. Sir Bobby, who served both The Magpies and The Tractor Boys with great distinction during a decorated managerial career which spanned 40 years, passed away in July at the age of 76 after a long battle with cancer. In the aftermath of his passing, both St.James' Park and Portman Road were visited by thousands of fans from around the world wishing to pay their respects to the former England boss. And The Football League have now granted special dispensation for the two sides to alter their playing kit for the game on September 26.
  5. good cover, should do well in this league. now need a few more in

    Temuri Ketsbaia

The reason i left him off. Can hear CP40 and NG charging towards their PC's as I type on their white horses cutting their daily KK prayers short at this blasphemous attempt by myself. See you in Keegan heaven (or hell for me i guess).

    Temuri Ketsbaia

Souness Roeder Allardyce Kinnear Shearer Hughton Ketsbaia. Out of that little tragic list i'd have Ketsbaia over any of them.

    RIP sale thread.

Are people actually listening to the shite sillious is peddling?
  9. Don't think Butt is the major problem, going in with only Carroll up front and no wingers might be a bigger one. Lets hope Raylor can get some decent crosses in. Be a scrappy game.
  10. just herad it b4, already knew he was still on a mil a year, so 20 k a week sounds about right,-fker. Probably right, he wasn't going to leave for nothing when he had 3 years left. The fuking state of this club never ceases to amaze me.
  11. Unique scarf will commemorate Sir Bobby Last updated: 16/09/2009 15:00:00 IPSWICH Town's special link with Newcastle United is set to be celebrated today with the release of a unique item of memorabilia. They may be preparing to do battle on the football field but the two clubs have put sporting rivalries aside to jointly release a scarf in honour of Sir Bobby Robson. The blue and black design features the crests of both clubs with all proceeds from sales going to the former Town and Magpies manager's cancer charity, The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. The scarf, which will be priced at £6, went on sale in club shops today. http://www.eadt.co.uk/s24/assets/images/dynamicFeed/heathm20090916151729.jpg Ipswich Town communications director Terry Baxter said he hoped fans from both clubs would wear the scarf with pride. “We are delighted to be able to help support Sir Bobby's charity in this way,” he said. “Along with Newcastle United we have developed the match specific blue and white/ black and white scarf. “All profits from the sale of this unique item will go directly to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and I am sure that our supporters will wear the scarf with pride in his memory.” Footage of Sir Bobby's memorial service, which is taking place at Durham Cathedral on Monday, is to be screened live on the Cornhill. As revealed in yesterday's Evening Star, the borough council is appealing to traders and businesses to deck their windows out in Town's colours on the day to ensure the former England boss is given a fitting send off. Town entertain Newcastle on September 26. Prior to the match the North Stand will be renamed in Sir Bobby's honour. Borough council leader Liz Harsant said: “Sir Bobby was not only a national hero, he was an Ipswich hero and will always be a legend here.” Write to Your Letters, Evening Star, 30 Lower Brook Street, Ipswich, IP4 1AN or e-mail [email protected]
  12. I reckon he's coming here. I wish. I'd even be happy to keep Ashley as owner if Kenyon could be in control of our club.
  13. Maybe people are scared that if Ashley wins, he might suddenly get a sudden surge of confidence and decide he is loved again and do a u-turn and decide not to sell. Thats an absolutely horrific thought so to avoid him even getting close to that kind of mentality, it would be important for KK to win any case. nobody is thinking that. certain people on here just want keegan to win so they can score a point. its really that simple.
  14. I hope Keegan gets f*** all. And I fail to understand anyone who wants him to take one single penny off the Club / Ashley. Do folk really think that Ashley will foot the bill? Or will it be likely that any payout to Keegan will end any further loan players coming in or players being almost thrown out the door at any old price to cover the cost come the next transfer window? f*** off Keegan. I hope you get what you deserve. Nowt. Spot on, anyone who wants Keegan to win is not a fan of the club, but is an idiot Keegan supporter. Typical pro ashley sympathiser and KK hater! In WWII you would have been sniffing hitlers crotch. Its not about wanting KK to win, its about getting to the truth. You are so full of fuking shit its unreal. I'm wanting what's best for the club, and that is KK losing this court case. Truth comes second. KK 3rd. I know all of that is the opposite way round for you and what matters is KK walking away with so much money it could destroy us getting back in to the prem after the gutless cunt walked out on us leading to our relegation, but there you go, not all of us live up KK's arse crack licking his insides out.

  18. If Ade gets banned for 3 matches for the incident with the fans, then Arsenal should have their next 3 games at home played behind closed doors. Only fair.
  19. The most shocking part of it all was the pace and energy he ran down the pitch with; never seen before by the fuker and i doubt it will be seen again.
  20. Apart from that one incident, did he actually do anything to warrant the nut case reputation? Everyone seems to have him labelled as some warrior of football who'll explode at any provocation...just wondered if he deserves that.

  22. He got beat 5-0 in a friendly; the fans and the media haven't taken to him because of that and the draw was against a team just promoted. Still harsh like.
