The Apprentice starts in 25mins.

Rio gets caught in possession far too often when bringing the ball out of defence for Manu for my liking. Several times (well possibly a couple) this season he's on the half way line getting 'mer'ced' by himself. Can't say i've noticed him doing it for England though.

So Beckham and Owen start?
-
Sounds like Lazio think he's shite as well. Another player were going to have to shift in the summer.
-
I can see this reaching the mark, then Ashley doubling it tbh.

Disagree with that to be honest, he's not as dominating as Faye but he's a very intelligent players, would like to see him with Faye more, a partner who will always attack the first ball. Taylor has been gettin away with it for far too long, i remeber him playing well, but i dont rememebr him ever dominating a forward or has a consistent run of excellent games. Cacapa's not as dominating as a jellyfish nevermind an actual defender like Faye. I heard he's played as many games as Milner or something like that. I now know why Cacapa has so many defects, he's inexperienced. No one's has a consistent run of excellent games, how you expect our youngest defender to do so in this mess is beyond me. No you're possibly right about Cacapa being dominating, again, it can be argued that physically Cacapa iswnt suite the best to this league, but i think that his intelligence has lead to alot of encouraging perfomances earlier in this season, even when he had that horrible game against Portsmouth he came back and shook that monkey off his back, he's been unlucky with rotation, as has Roz who i still believ is a good defender. As for Taylor, there has been nothing to stop him from being consistent, nothing at all, he's had 120 games for this club and had plenty of practise defending and hasnt really come on that much. Can you tell me any difference from Taylor on debut and Taylor now, personally i cant. i think his main problem is that he doesnt know what ype of defender he is. Also, in my opinion Faye has been consistent in a poor side. If Taylor was a foriegner then he wouldnt get half the portection he doesn now, look at all the people writing off Cacapa and Roz after half a season only a handful of people defending them, yet there are a lot more who defend Taylor after 120 first team appearences. Dont get me wrong, with the right coaching and mentality, i think Taylor could have a good chance of being a good defender but as of yet he hasnt learnt from his experiences at all, and that frustrates a lot fo people. It frustrates me as well, but i cannot lie the blame solely at Taylor, its the clubs fault he's failing more than anyone. The shit state its been in, the chopping and changing of managers, the poor players playing with him and around him, the constant struggle to survive since he's come through. Its like trying to learn at school but without any equipment, a teacher, any lesson structure or support from piers. If Taylor emerged elsewhere he'd be years ahead of what he is now it he'd played the same amount of games, tragically he's wasting what ever amount of ability that came through at 1st by being here. Saying that, he could have done more by himself, especially this season, but that's really what its about, doing it by yourself as no one else is going to show you. tragic for any youngster coming though this club, and we wonder why Taylor's the best we've produced this millennium, maybe beyond.

Cannot be relied upon in any way shape or form, and for someone 30+ that's all you want from them. As long as we don't pick up any injuries to Taylor & Faye i'm really not bothered, but no doubt both of them will get clattered next match, just the way it goes.
-
There's no doubt he's been fuked over in his life as an agent, and it wouldn't put it past me if SBR fuked him over as well, but there really is no need to be saying shit like that. People saying only this, only that, but he's worked for his coin, like it or not, and if you don't get what you owed its going to upset you, whether he's a devil agent or not. Complete prick though.

So he's clawed some of it back?

K Jones needs a lot of work and attention to become a real Premiership player. I don't think us would be the right club for him, Sunderland certainly aren't, but they are his stepping stone to greater things, as long as he takes the next step. Off the boil in 2008, not seen anything from him to note of and next season will be even worse as he'll be flying away for NT duty interrupting any form he builds up. I think if Sunderland are still here next season, and it looks likely, so will he. If he can maintain a full season on good form there will be a lot of teams after him, until then he's a gamble, they gambled at £6m and its paid off, if they stay in the EPL then someone will have to gamble £10m+, i'm not sure i'd like it to be us.
-
have you tried it? is it any good? (Beye is having a really long piss) Forget Beye, Geremi can get his stream to bend! While Owen pisses out his arse.
-
I wonder if Mr Silkman will donate?
-
Why should Owen pay for his injuries? I get paid when I'm off work sick, and we got £7M back for the games Owen has missed. Why should we? I'd rather him be sold and his injuries and wages be someone else's problem.
-
We have Kadar & Tozer who can both play left back coming through. Enrique himself is only 22. Tozer really is a CB though, can't say i know how well Kadar knows the role, but both are very defensive and only offer slight cover for the 1st team next season.
-
Why do they have to be English? If it was English Ryan Bertrand may be worth a punt. English youth international who by the end of the season will have about 50 first team games under his belt. I think Chelsea may be freeing up the decks below the first team as they have Harry Worley. Because we play in the English Premiership (currently ) I'd like to see some English youth coming into our team.
-
I cant see us winning this game so i'd be quite happy to see 433 and reward those who've won a game with another start together. Breaking up a winning team to suit another right now is madness imo.
-
If he was to get a contract i would like to see high bonus for goals and games and a huge % cut when he's out injured. If not, even though he's hitting the net i'd see him gone and replaced over an increase of any kind. £5m a year is far too much for what he offers, if we can get a fee for him say even £6m, by the end of the year that pays for an £11m player, someone like Gomis and a years wages, so really its no great loss if he goes imo.
-
He's solid and someone we need to keep hold of. Would like a young English LB signed in the summer though as backup to him, i don't think we need a direct competitor on him, just someone to settle and grow in the squad while he does the same in the 1st team.
-
Its all about Taylor having two decent games tbh.
-
Have to agree. Was really hoping for a minimum of thirteen goals, because frankly our goal difference is still massively concerning. I wanted these 6pts everyone keeps talking about from games like this, all we got was 3, disappointing tbh.
-
A friend of mine told me that any team could buy his contract for 5m this summer, true? Foreign team yes, English team no.
-
SICK OF THIS SHIT This is my care face.
-
Apparently it makes its return tonight.
-
You win. I take about 5 with me as well.
