  1. Its a very good start to the summer. I wasn't convinced with Viduka, but under new management i have a hope he'd perform to the best of his abilities. Ben Haim is a no brainer, we need talented defenders and lots of them, for free he's the summer bargain at the back.

Chelsea need him to open up a very boring team, Liverpool could also do with him, but if we have this kind of money then i couldn't think of a better £12m spent in this summer window for us. If Ashley want to makes a difference from the off, then this would be a great place to start.

This, and like i said, a player to build a team around. He could be the key in a year or so to pushing NUFC into the top 4. They don't come along often, but every major team needs a player like him, i hope he goes to manu and not spurs as the impact he'd have there would be gutting.

Gamst Pedersen from Blackburn, who we should of had in the 1st place through Souness.

I KNEW SOMEONE WOULD COMPARE HIM TO VIANA, BUT LIKE I SAID HE HAS ENOUGH PACE TO COMPETE IN THE EPL, YOU WOULD BE BEST TO COMPARE HIM TO RONALDO THAN VIANA. So just because he has pace it would be better to compare him to Ronaldo? Why not compare him to Alan O'Brien who also has pace. Only seen him play once but I wouldn't compare him to Ronaldo at all. I havent seen the guy but I think comparing him with a slow central midfielder and comparing him to someone who is actually more like him makes perfect sense You'd think its a canny reason to comapre him to Ronaldo since: Both are Portuguese. Both are young. Both are versatile wingers. (with Nani more able to play in the centre) Both came form the same acadamy. Both are looking likely to play in the EPL. Both are going to cost the same in fee's. Both have similar styles, running at players, tricky, and technical. But no, Alan O'Brien it is coz he's pacy.

Neither is Martins There small, that is all, they've played for NUFC so they must be under 6ft like every player we sign. yeah i know, i had bit meself in the bum there, but with Martins he is ridiculously strong for his size Very true, didn't realise how much strength he had a Inter, but when he came here it was plain to see what a little powerhouse he is. Imaging if he had the height as well, he's half decent in the air as it is.

Have not seen a lot of him, just read the hype. But if he is anywhere near as good as Ronaldo then yes, but as he is only 5ft 9inch I reckon he may not be physical enough for the Premierleague. Martins is only 5ft 7in, david bentely 5ft 9in aaron lennon 5ft 5in point proven Add Owen & Bellamy to that list as well. One thing they all have in common, pace, which Nani has, well enough, its not blistering but its effective at the least. Viana was as slow as Shearer and with the strength of me nana, not a winning combo for an EPL player.

£12m well spent imo. Has enough pace to survive the EPL. Would be a good player to build a new team around. But: Manu = Big club & Ronaldo SPuds = London NUFC = Good money Depends what he wants in life.
  12. Surprised its come this quickly but was always going to happen. Chelsea to fall apart? possibly, although there is a lot of talent there, worth lots of money, they'll never be the average club the once were.
  13. when does the window open though wow this is frustrating lol 1st July. that's what i thought, but wikipedia said the 1st June? Any fuker can edit Wiki man. yeah i know, but why would they want to Because people do, ask them not me

  16. Does the transfer window apply to free transfers too though? I'm not sure No but Ben Haim isnt a free transfer until July 1st. I'm sure they can agree a deal with anyone in the last 6 months of their contract. Not in the same Country they can't. Say Valencia could of tied him up on the 1st Jan, but we have to wait 6 weeks before the end of contract, 1st July. So mid may, this is when Ben Haim & Sidwell have been available to EPL clubs.
  17. "Ronnie Gills" is basically what it sounds like when the sellers in Northumberland Street shout "Chronicle". Sure the one outside Eldon Square shouts 'Crimi nail' You see people walking past looking at the person next to them quickly checking their own pockets.

  22. He's better than Titus Bramble. He's better than Steven Taylor, although for me that is down to experience only. Should make an excellent partnership, he's a lot calmer than Taylor.
  23. Bitch please. I'll ask again, what the fuk do you think his silence means? That he's not sure where his future is, that he needs to sit down and talk with Big Sam, and that it'd probably be best to wait till the takeover is complete to do so? No point him coming out and stating his commitment to the club if theres any doubt in his mind that he won't be wearing the black and white next season. I too want only players who are 100% committed to the cause playing for the club, maybe Owen just needs proof that we can match his ambitions before he can deliver that commitment. If we had him last season we could of matched his Euro ambitions, but he rushed himself to fitness for his beloved Country and missed the entire season. I'd understand if he played and slogged his guts out all season, we finished where we were and he thought fuk it am off, at least he tried but it looks like he's incapable of giving us a year of his time, while we've given him two years of wages for nowt. Its a kick in the teeth that is waiting to happen, i'm resigned to losing him and both him and FS want shot for putting the club in this position, 20,000 turnout for 14 games and 8 goals. (crrect me if its wrong) Fuking muppets. You are... ...it was only 7. Ah well, its 4am in the morning, what do you expect? Only 1:45am actually (unless you're on holiday) woosh! Not sure where the woosh was in that but oh well More of a joke than a woosh, but i've been up for nearly 24hours so you can forgive me.
