In my opinion he's not shite... I think he is playing very well for boro at the moment, I've seen him on a number of occasions and he can play! No doubt about it. Obviously the big question would be money, would pay 2 million tops. His fitness, hunger to play for the club would be another question mark - however I reckon it would be a gamble worth going for. Either way he had 6 months before the start of the season, he could of researched the whole league ten years back by then, and it still wouldn't of effected his time.

End of the day the papers are telling them £15m + SWP's, then why not £25m? Chelsea obscure prices for good players in this league. He's really only worth about £12m, but he's young & English, and Chelsea were supposed to be after him, Spurs wont sell him for anything less now.

Have you seen him defend or just the free kicks and crosses? He would be a liability in our team.
