Probably me just not used to us having any kind of plan, nevermind the club trusting the manager.
-
Just going off what folks are saying on here. I don't mind us move forward and changing formation or style of play as long as it was planned, but changing a winning formula to accommodate signings isn't for me. Likewise playing players out of position (mind it didn't do Joelinton any harm) I haven't watched enough of Howe to know what he's thinking. I just hope these are his signings and if any transitions are incoming, then they are on his terms. I would have liked a full on striker and winger, but this does make us more rigid and maybe Howe has bigger plans.

Paqueta will be the new Brett Emerton.
-
Not fully on board with Maddison for £60m (and then playing him wide) and Werner as our striker, but they're both quality PL players and we're way down the list now with time running out.

Feel good factor over after 84mins. It's going to be a long season for them.

Fucking hell. Such simpletons.

Stan Collymore is a lassy bashing cunt.
-
I don't think he has the right character off it either. Very much Grealish lite.
-
We talk about getting the right characters then rock up for this smary arse. He's Grealish lite. Every time he thinks he's hit the next level, his form falls off a cliff. If he signs for us, does well he'll be looking at a bigger club whilst playing like he's in pre-season. Any time Arsenal have been mentioned to be in for him his head goes walkabouts, its the same when he gets an England call up, starts playing like billy-big-bollocks and inevitably doesn't get selected. £50-60m. No thanks.

Fingers crossed this falls through.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

I'm going tonight. Quite excited about this. 1st time back since Brentford. -
Agreed, apart from Fosters. That's piss in a can.

We bring in proper people at boardroom level then act shocked when they use every trick in the book to maximise our potential. No stone unturned and no avenue cut off for exploiting our situation. You'd think people had their head in the sand and missed the legal battle and what levels we went to there to gain any advantage. Numpties.

Naa. And not as important as the Marramates trophy they give themselves every year for the amount of respect they have from fans across the country.

Russo is quality like

Best manager in the world in may. Hounded out by Sept.
-
He looked down and out last year. Really happy for him. Hopefully not too late for his brother as well.
-
Desperate for those 3 appearances and then he can relax back in to his comfort zone. Fair play if not, but I can see it from a mile off.

There goes our new striker... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11042753/Saudi-Arabia-unveils-plans-75-MILE-long-desert-skyscraper-called-Mirror-Line.html?ito=social-facebook&fbclid=IwAR3VRStpUre36C30kAeMafn8SabZtEddMJJKSXqAs0XLApTOoFqAY3d6-hk&fs=e&s=cl#l60mordti8xb58pp4ra

Leicester are suffering from the typical Rodgers slump. He's only good for a couple of seasons before he runs out of steam. Get rid of him and there's a serious squad which just needs a couple of big signings.
-
I'm happy with what we've brought in so far this window. We've made no mistakes, and right now that is crucial since we're limited to what we can do with FFP over our heads. Anyone can overpay for a player, or bring in a player no one wants. It takes time, patience and an understanding of how things work to bring in quality for reasonable fees, especially when you've been billed the richest club in the world (when in reality, we're not)

Yet still a better human being than Bruce. I don't disagree, but he showed it for whatever gain, Bruce couldn't even do that.
-
At least pardew has some dignity. Not much but a few examples out there. I can't think of one thing Bruce, in his entire career, showed an ounce of it.
-
100% yes for Depay. Think he'll end up back at manu if he's coming to England.

They'll start well, which will make them overstate their position in the league and them giving it large to all in earshot. The league will wake up, remember why no one likes these cunts, with players & managers alike putting in extra effort to flush the turd back to League One. Manager sacked by xmas as they stumble from calamity to calamity. Fans demanding the kid fucks off or spends the small fortune they deserve for their long suffering. Attendances will drop, everyone will pack up and go home and in-between offering each other out, they'll be asking themselves on RTG why this keeps happening to them. It's going to be epic.
