  1. He looked down and out last year. Really happy for him. Hopefully not too late for his brother as well.
  2. Desperate for those 3 appearances and then he can relax back in to his comfort zone. Fair play if not, but I can see it from a mile off.
  3. There goes our new striker... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11042753/Saudi-Arabia-unveils-plans-75-MILE-long-desert-skyscraper-called-Mirror-Line.html?ito=social-facebook&fbclid=IwAR3VRStpUre36C30kAeMafn8SabZtEddMJJKSXqAs0XLApTOoFqAY3d6-hk&fs=e&s=cl#l60mordti8xb58pp4ra
  4. Leicester are suffering from the typical Rodgers slump. He's only good for a couple of seasons before he runs out of steam. Get rid of him and there's a serious squad which just needs a couple of big signings.
  5. I'm happy with what we've brought in so far this window. We've made no mistakes, and right now that is crucial since we're limited to what we can do with FFP over our heads. Anyone can overpay for a player, or bring in a player no one wants. It takes time, patience and an understanding of how things work to bring in quality for reasonable fees, especially when you've been billed the richest club in the world (when in reality, we're not)

Yet still a better human being than Bruce. I don't disagree, but he showed it for whatever gain, Bruce couldn't even do that.

At least pardew has some dignity. Not much but a few examples out there. I can't think of one thing Bruce, in his entire career, showed an ounce of it.
  8. 100% yes for Depay. Think he'll end up back at manu if he's coming to England.

They'll start well, which will make them overstate their position in the league and them giving it large to all in earshot. The league will wake up, remember why no one likes these cunts, with players & managers alike putting in extra effort to flush the turd back to League One. Manager sacked by xmas as they stumble from calamity to calamity. Fans demanding the kid fucks off or spends the small fortune they deserve for their long suffering. Attendances will drop, everyone will pack up and go home and in-between offering each other out, they'll be asking themselves on RTG why this keeps happening to them. It's going to be epic.
  10. Get me a job in the recruitment team.
  11. Not signed anyone this month. Hopefully we can go the whole month without anyone coming in, just to sample the tears more than anything.
  12. I'd really like to want villa to do well but their fans are some of the worst in football. Midlands version of the mackems and scouse mackems.
  13. Then we are failing players like Lewis & Anderson. If we see him play any games then we have massively failed as a club in our recruitment drive. It's a very fucking low bar to say Ritchie & even Gayle do not get minitues this season. No excuses really.
  14. Hopefully Ritchie doesn't get a squad number this season. Nothing against him, if he stays he's there for training and transitioning in to coaching. If he wants to play then he can go out on loan till he's ready to retire. I've not issues with him being around the club for the next 5-10 years, but I never want to see him on the pitch again.
  15. Loads of work going on and off the pitch to move the club forward. Some deep cuts which need addressing, stuff we don't see or even hear about until it's done. Right now there is a lull, but I'm guessing our new setup is confident that's clubs will break on fees and they'll get 1 or 2 of their prime targets in. I do though think pining after players like Diaby when cheaper alternatives like Sarr are sitting in the championship is too good to pass up on. If Diaby comes available and we have Sarr, we sell or loan out Murphy, fraser or Almiron and improve out options no end. Funny how noises out of Lyon have changed dramatically as we cool our jets (overall on transfers) and arsenal target Tielemans. Player suddenly states he wants to leave and Lyon leaking the price is moderate.
  16. Looks like we're being priced out of the market, especially in England. I know we're keen on Diaby but the fee is mental, so aim lower and get Sarr, then we're less desperate for our next target...so on and so on. Maybe were waiting patiently and seeing which clubs crack 1st. I reckon we'll have a busy final couple of days in the window where prices fall dramatically and we get what we want at reasonable prices.
  17. We missed our chance with Toney. Don't think we should be paying daft money to bring him back.

Some clutching in that one. Almost rtg like. ?
  19. Awaymag only posts when he's 5 pints of John smiths deep in his local social club. Probably pissed he lost the meat raffle and John ate the last pickled egg at the bar.
  20. Pcp run the club, not fund it. Initial purchase will be very different on how the club brings money in from now on. Their 10% is earned by the continuous day to day.
  21. Wood should have been better than what he's produced going off previous seasons. We certainly over paid regardless of form, but right now it looks like a full write off of the fee and wages we'll not be able to shake easily. I'm hoping next season with pressure off he gets to play with Wilson and starts to add something to the team. Well it can't get any worse.
  22. Don't care if it didn't happen, it happened. No one will tell me otherwise. ?
  23. Tielemans, Sarr & Dembele (Lyon) would be a great haul. Probably £75m all in.
