Looks like I was right, ksa will be watching PL football next season and not through Bein.
-
regardless of any future tv deals it won't change the fact they can't do anything about it for next season as the bein contract would be water tight in that regard PL pays back % lost for market and ksa pay PL same amount. Everyone wins.
-
Saudis seem to think there will be am independent sports media channel forming in its country. PL must have agreed to recognise it as an official broadcasting region for them to block be in. Thryve already spoken to la liga and Serie a.
-
PL will have agreed to see ksa independent of me broadcasting agreement. In return PL refunds bein a percentage based on viewer scope and ksa pay the difference. This remains in place until next round of bidding.
-
If they failed the test then thry appeal. If that fails thryll take it to court. Thry aren't going to let Qatar win, not this easily.
-
Stifleaay[/member] 1 thing I've just thought of, maybe thryve waited to do this after thryve had the takeover approved. Seems a coincidence.
-
If that was true then SA could have bought their own rights years ago, before BeoutQ and avoided this whole thing in the first place. I think you are trying to see things through tinted glasses. Or just not a drama queen running round crying it’s off at every opportunity. The case started in 2016, so if anything it has nothing to do with the takeover, good or bad. I’m not saying it’s bad for the takeover, I’m just disputing the fact that people are making up numerous reasons why it’s good and shows the takeover to be closer than it every has. It likely means nothing in regards to the takeover, but let’s not make out that it means it’s going to happen now because of this. I’m not saying you are, but can see the grief junkies circling. Imo KSA will broadcast PL games next and it won’t be through bein.

This’ll be why hairy hands was admitting defeat yesterday. He’ll have heard his company has lost its case and now KSA are free to have their own broadcasting rights, and will not only ramp up over the next couple of years in their own country but then take on rights across the Middle East. It’s the beginning of the end of bein. Bein effectively forced KSA in to priacy due to dodgy subs. Glorious.
-
But Qatar already own the rights for this season and next season. Not now. Thryve been found guilty of monopolising their broadcasting making users sub to other sports thry didn't want. Decsiin made by some governing body. Ksa have acted by banning them from their country and will seek individual broadcasting rights with each competition. Actually that gov body is internal, so not sure what weight outside KSA it has.
-
Ksa will have its own broadcasting region imo, separate from the rest of the me.

They were shitting themselves last that little old Wycombe would swoop in and steal their best player (O9) After he declared his dying love for them. I’d imagine the the seats In Sunderland are covered in brown tonight.
-
I'm guessing he'll love the frenzy he creates this week and more so the utter disappointment on Saturday when it doesn't happen. He'll then get DM'd dogs abuse and he'll run to the police.

Richard Keyes reckons this Friday
-
Well it’s not going to be Leicester going off yesterday and their remaining games. Think manu have a chance of winning all their games.
-
I've got 4 fucking 0 on as well
-
Henderson hasn’t had to deal with the type of pressure that comes with England and manu. It’s very different shining in a team with no expectations. I also doubt Froggy would be nursing such a rock hard erection fro him if he wasn’t on manu books. We had the same with the citeh fan and hart years back, it’s only natural. Pickford will be number 1 for a while to come, simply down to the options aren’t great, and those below him come in and out of form, just like him, but when they are all in top gear Pickford is clearly the best option.
-
He was terrible today. First game for me where you wouldn’t go near him.

28/1 for Madrid to win the CL. Am I missing something? Seems very high.

RTG isn't a fair reflection of the fans I know and work with, however they do sail closer when there is a group of them and the convo always ends up about us. RTG though, sadly just reminds me of how racism works. The lies, rumours, mistrust, hatred and the attempt to out do each other to show how much they hate someone just so they can fit in. They only tolerate our fans if they say nowt and agree with them, including put downs of our own. Again mirroring racism in social situations gone by. Of course that mentality reflects again back in to actual racism, which is rife on there. So overall there's only so much a normal person can take before they crack. You see it happen to one of their fans, who stands up and is called a mag. An actual NIFC fan doing the same just brings out the rabid dog in them, logical, decency and honesty flies out the window, and its just about trying to take chunks out of you to feel better about themselves.
-
For good this time. For the best. I know you try and keep them in check, stop them spewing BS and making things up about us, but it's best to leave them to it. They'll have no one to argue with but themselves, no one to turn on but each other and the reality of their own situation may eventually kick in.

Really lovely bloke by all accounts. RIP.
