I always thought it was strange that they’d proudly look down at “the mags shouting at shops” when our fan base was trying to put pressure on Mike Ashley while they were plummeting down divisions, being taken apart by chancers and doing absolutely nothing against it. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think we did enough as fan base but they were seemingly proud to be doing nothing so they didn’t look like us. Weird bunch at times. It’s glorious and they still don’t see it. ‘A once saw a mag with a plaster cast on, I’ll be fine without it’ ‘But sir, your leg is broken in 4 places’ ‘Well that’s 2 more than that gravy stained bastard, so fine by me’ ‘You’ll run in to complications such as gangrene’ ‘Green? Well as long as it’s not black and white a couldn’t care what colour me leg goes. FTM’
  2. 60 grand a week is just over minimum wage in London, I can see why he’s upset.

https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/a-breakdown-of-trust.1522865/ I’ve never understood why they constantly have a go at the media for not speaking out against their plight and put pressure on the owners, yet do fuck all Themselves as fans in case they are seen as protesting mags. No one is going to fight for them if they CBA to fight for it themselves. They have let everything that has happened to them go by without a whimper. Best fans in the land etc...
  4. Quite the opposite my confidence is growing by the day think where very close. The Saudi announcement re intellectual property today feels significant. Everything feels significant, until it’s not. So many events looked like being the catalyst to spark the final push, then it just fizzles out time again. If we’re not careful it’ll end up being a documentary on Netflix.

  6. What’s people’s opinion on Kane? Just taking time to fully recover from his injuries or has the injury took something out of him permanently? Think he’ll struggle to break Shearers record now, unless he moves clubs.
  7. You could probably buy Half of Norwich for that.
  8. It’s got another 14 weeks to go, we’ve just passed the halfway mark.
  9. It’s a bit daft in here like. We’ve got an average squad without key injuries and without playing this many games in such a short space of time. Citeh mauled the champions, and if they played like that all season the title would have been still undecided. The players had no desire to be there, it was a game they could do without. Had that 1st goal not gone in we may have seen more fight for a bit longer, but after 20mins every single one of them were just hoping it wasn’t double figures. You can have a go and lay blame to him for so many things, last night really isn’t an issue. We would have needed at least 9 new players and something to fight for to make any difference, a better manager may have also reduced the score line but not without said players and reason to win.
  10. 'Bruce has done a fab job. He's brought them here, to this stadium, and its a long journey from Newcastle, so you've got to give him credit for that. The other thing that has impressed me with Bruce is he's picked a team here tonight, and its got 11 men in it, not 9, not 10, but 11. It's staggering how he's managed to do this time again over the season especially since he doesn't have the budget of Man City, so yeah, Newcastle fans should be happy with what he's done there, I doubt Rafa could have managed that, and as we've seen before, Rafa would have come here and setup to defend and we wouldn't see goals, and that's not fair on us or the home fans'
  11. Be announced tomorrow after this embarrassment is out of the way. It's like when a new manager comes in to save a club from relegation and the next fixture is the reigning champions away...'I'll watch that from the stands as I don't want to disrupt the preparation'
  12. Should just forfeit the game (3-0) and blame it on the takeover
  13. Joelinton 1-0....850/1. Cheeky quid on that.
  14. Rompe isn't looking for balance, his aim is to pick out the extreme of a post and run with that. Twist it to fit his narrative. Nothing to see here apart from a terrible wum.
  15. This is it for me, no doubting the outcome (State ordered hit which wasn’t as clean as they’d hoped) but what led to this situation will never be made clear. Khashoggi certainly wasn’t a just a civilian, he had far too many dealings with the royal family and terrorist organisations to be whiter than white. As for her, no idea. She comes across fake and paid for by Qatar and she makes it easy for people to target her as such with interviews like this where she seems to know and care nothing about him, but fully versed in why the takeover shouldn’t happen. What makes me think is if SA needed him on Saudi soil/embassy then how do they make him. What would make him go there? Not many options, apart from the one he went for. Was that planned? Make him quickly fall in love. Wouldn’t be that much of a surprise twist in all this. But that said if she was involved I’m sure it would have been leaked to discredit her, I also think if there was the slightest evidence pointing to this, even though she didn’t, they have leaked that also. So all that leads me back to she’s just unfortunately met someone with a dodgy past which caught up with him and now she, just like NUFC is caught up in this political storm and her crusade for justice for him has turned in to something else driven by Qatar. No way all this is off her own back. Could she be upset that her husband was murdered in a gruesome fashion, and then cut up in pieces? Not it has to be Qatar, no doubt about it. She is nothing but a pawn. Bonkers. She's not his widow, she wasn't his wife. Thry knew each other as long as this takeover has gone on, so no surprise she has nothing to say about him and everything to say about nufc. I've remained open minded on her, he however was a terrorist sympathiser, who would have thought the US deserved 9/11 more than anyone you are trying to pick arguments with. Right, Khashoggi evil, Saudi Arabia good. Got it. Good, now fuck off you Qatari bot. Everyone critical of Saudi Arabia is of course a Qatari bot, as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has done no evil in it's history. The defense of Saudi Arabia is really bizarre, I hoped that the fans would be capable of being critical and/or reflected regarding this takeover and Saudi Arabia, but that has proven to be a hopelessly naive thought. You clearly aren't open for discussion, so why should anyone else? Full on black and white, no grey area and your opinion is right. You've put words in to the mouths of several posters in this tirade today, myself included, which is pathetic. So aye, Qatari bot seems fitting. Looking forward to you deleting your account and following another team.

  20. I’ve not seen it all but seen the reaction to it. She basically said he was nice, nowt else on him then full on why NUFC shouldn’t be taken over. Twitter in a right mess over it.
  21. Arsenal fans don’t like him. He’s their Alan Smith.
