Sels is doing alright in France isn't he? Also we got our money back (5.5) with loan (1.8) and transfer (3.5) fee. Don't think we needed a GK at the time mind. Lazaar was only 2.3m, i reckon we'd have seen half that back with loan fees as well. Muto & Murphy though, at the time where we really needed players to challenge were a huge waste of resources and hindered us. I'd add Joselu to the shit list. Atsu was close to being mentioned but tbh in his loan spell here he was good and i would have signed him in case he stepped up.

Can work for us as well. More options as we can meet the fees being asked by clubs and players will be more likely to want to join. So if one agent/club/player takes the piss we just move on to another top target. Think after all the cv19 football finances will be reigned back in a bit. Maybe even wages capped and agents regulated.

Every negative connotation the press, rivals and doubters have thrown at us since the CH admission has either been dismissed or very reasonably explained away. Deal is done, but as always; caution is advised.
-
Remember when it was stated he was trouble and had a bad attitude? Maybe that's what a personality equals in football these days. Easily my favourite player. Whatever happens next, I hope he's on the journey with us.

Wouldn't be surprised if Rafa has a release clause to come back knowing the takeover was rumbling on but just couldn't stomach working for them any longer. I really do hope its him. He can undo a decade of damage in a short space of time. He knows everything that is missing to make this a proper outfit and in to a top club. He had plans to reshape from bottom to top. Academy setup, training ground, community drives and probably SJP itself. Wouldn't be beyond realms if he also wanted to be involved in any region regeneration plans. He wants in at every level, any detail is important and all of this will move us forward at a quicker pace. As long as the owners listen to him (which they will as A: they understand to listen to experts. B: Are top level business people) then it is only going to end in success relative to the investment. If they want the club club in the world, he'll take them there. Another manager won't be interested in any of that, just which players they can sign and he much they earn. There may be better match day managers with more glamorous styles of play, but I wouldn't trade it for all the above. The above builds a club which lasts a generation, the alternative builds a squad before moving on.

Same, Virgin, been off about 20 hours, Weird. I got back on yesterday and I'm ov Virgin. Just glad it’s back up. Following the takeover stuff on Twitter is awful.

Woah, thought the forum was down.
-
Premier league have already been told that they’ve passed the test, but to hang fire so it looks like that have a say in it.
-
Is he that 3rd rate footballer who decided to become a 5th rate boxer? I can see why rtg love him.
-
Why not Bitch please. Ffs.

He’s been nowhere near China in months. I can’t seem him returning after the virus outbreak.
-
Mine can’t. Simply new owners, Ashley gone, some hope at last. That’s all that’s getting through atm. Talk of trophies, big signings, PSG, citeh models just doesn’t compute, not in the slightest. If we go out and make a Ferrari player like purchase for the first time I’ll probably think it’s all a dream. I’d be delighted with being on par with Leicester and Everton. Not sure Saudi are in it to make up the numbers mind.
-
You might want to consider some slightly more complicated positions. Only if it's from the side currently shouting the loudest. People have considered the possibility the Saudi gov are trying to change, but the latest is you aren't allowed to think that.
-
Im guessing those who do have a problem with the Saudis involvement are going to leave the forum and not bang on about it every 2 mins as thryll not be supporting the club any longer and have no need to be here?

Rafa deserves a shot at it with proper backing this time. Him coming to us when we were on course for relegation, staying and seeing out his contract is what seperates him from all the other top managers. None of them would have done that. Likes of pep goes from top club in the division to the next, never testing himself properly.

Did sheff utd owners borrow money from the bin laden family? Someone mentioned it the other day, not sure how true. Got to hope their desire to tie in with us is to keep moving towards a more progressive culture back home. Rather than promote cheap sports tat we could be used to promote a countries change in political, social and moral issues.

Get Rafa back or someone just as good Get rid of the shite SD signs Tie down the longstaffs Buy a striker who has proven to be able to score goals (Rondon) Release colback, elliot and shola. Invest in cleaning and modernising the stadium In house as much as we can. Get back our merchandise Buy back the land at SP. New training and academy setup Make willems perm Target 2 positions a window to improve on. That's enough for me.
-
Getting on a bit isn't he? On a free though. Must learn to shake that under 27 only policy out of my head.
-
Coutinho is my guess Thats probably a good guess, James Rodriguez is another possible Lol, it'll be Danny Ings and we'd better fucking like it. I'd rather have Ings than James.
-
They are devastated. If you remind them of how they thought they were going to rule the world under Dell, to stuck in L1 with Parkinson and our takeover news, you may be charged with manslaughter.
-
HTT[/member] , you gonna remove the bairn and put them in to a proper club now?
-
Klopp? Really? Think it's nailed on he comes back mind, and it'll be shackles off.
-
Why do you say that Dokko, I think he’ll follow the Pardew Route, couple of prem failures then oblivion....maybe overseas One last swing at the prem when he didn't deserve it and will be paid off for the remaining 2 years of his contract without fuss. Fucking off nicely in to retirement.
-
He’s fucked here but in general he made the best move of his career.
