    Koeman?

He's on my list of managers that I could see improving the club, but there are many others I would have before him.
  2. They've also gone and removed all the Roeder interviews from the Official Site, which is really quite a petty thing to do.
  3. Another crap club statement that takes up less space than the accompanying photograph.

    An honourable man

Like I've said, don't praise him now, as we don't know the full details. He might have done a Dalglish - said he'd resigned to save his dignity, the sue for constructive dismissal a couple of months down the line. Now if he does a Gullit, ie resign, apologise, and not ask for a penny - now that is honourable.

    Season Ticket Holders

Have you read the front page? (I know you wont have) There are a few interesting comments as to where our readershipstand with relation to season ticket renewals.
  6. Think it can now be considered as official, given that shepherd has confirmed it to the BBC.
  7. Still to early to see who has survived the cull. Pearson might have pissed Shepherd off with his horizontal performance.
  8. We're not on the betting now are we? Last time round, we were shitting our pants because betting on Glenn Hoddle was suspended.
  9. Harry Harris - Allardyce will be Newcastle manager, Bolton are ready to sue us.
  10. I will take any of these managers who I consider as either realistic, or semi-realistic. The list is in order of who I prefer: Louis Van Gaal Marcello Lippi Juande Ramos Sam Allardyce Mark Hughes Gerard Houillier Manuel Pellegrini Quique Sanchez Flores Sven Goran Eriksson Claudio Ranieri Henk Ten Cate Roberto Mancini Thomas Doll Gordon Strachan Ronald Koeman David Moyes Harry Redknapp Alex Inglethorpe
  11. Aaaargh, can we not keep the number of threads down?
  12. Five Live have literally just described Shearer as the fans choice.
  13. Like I said in the other thread, we cant be certain that he resigned, as Dalglish 'resigned', but later pushed for compensation, saying that he was pushed.
  14. Now breaking on BBCFIVELIVE- resigned with immediate effect. No Official Confirmation but thats because they need to get things in order.
  15. None exist yet, all breaking television news.
  16. He was a nice guy, I'm sorry it didn't work out for him, but he was always out of his depth.
  17. Dalglish 'resigned' but it turned out that he was sacked. It was agreed to say that he had resigned to protect Dalglish's reputation. The same may have happenned here.
  18. He's gone, the press have never cocked up in such a manner before.

    Fulham Target Gullit

He realised that it wasn't working for him, so apologised to the fans and chairman and resigned. Exactly. Even though he clearly had some weird grudge with Shearer, I have a lot of respect for Ruud. Good guy. Didn't he reckon Shearer was past it and was becoming bigger than the club? Shearer was nowhere near finished when he was in charge - he failed to realise this, total clash of personalities. Shearer was playing badly. It took a good manager to teach Shearer how to play again. That is what we need - a good manager to teach some of our star names how to effectively play football.

    Fulham Target Gullit

If I'm at one of the Fulham games next season, I'll look forward to applauding him.

    Fulham Target Gullit

Honest gent, yes. Shit manager, yes. I'm referring to the fact that Gullit would have resigned by now, blamed himself, and not asked for a single penny.

    Fulham Target Gullit

Ruud Gullit. Now there is an honest gentleman.
