  1. Aye i know, i wasn't planning on mentioning anything else if you aimed that at me. I just flicked through a topic regarding that though on my dinner break and all of a sudden its down so its possible thats the reason.
  2. Had a look on earlier and someone had started a thread questioning if players weren't playing because they had been taking drugs so maybe its because of that.
  3. You couldn't really say which one contributed more and was most important out of Robert and Bellamy. They were equally important. Robert was a big source of goals from midfield plus he put in countless assists for Shearer. Bellamy is a massive reason Shearer got as much space as he did and Bellamy contributed lightening pace. Both brilliant players and both are one of the biggest reasons we were so good attacking wise under SBR.
  4. It would be nice to honour him with a match at the end of the season where he can get an amazing send off. Obviously it would be impossible to get most of the world stars hes managed over the years, but i'm sure the likes of Shearer, Beardsley, Lee and Speed would make an appearance if it would possible to get a Newcastle v select XI together in May before everyone goes on their holidays. I would there there would be plenty of people who would be more than happy to make an appearance for him.
  5. Bridge was awful tonight. He's an excellent left back usually though. Gerrard was terrible tonight.

    Bothered?

Never celebrated an England goal in my life. I'm a Newcastle fan and have been to plenty of away matches. Always wear me shirt as well.

    Damien Duff

Heskey is better than Viduka?
  8. Crouch is a good player but he is not what we need really. Anelka definitely.
  9. Yeah - he was interviewed in the 'Metro' paper in London and said something along those lines. He intimated that he wouldn't be looking for anything until his BBC deal expires which is in a couple of years I think. TBH I'd rather he didn't come back right now. Whilst it's clear Allardyce and Mort have got loads of work to do it's nice that they can do it without the likes of Shearer over their shoulders i.e: Without any pressure or influence from previous regimes. The pressure would increase should Shearer arrive as people's expectations would rise. I'm not knocking him here but we don't even know that Shearers any good as a Coach/Assistant Manager or at whatever role he might get in the future. Now's not the time to be taking chances with appointments based on heart rather than head. Shearer still trains with the first team two days a week and is coaching the strikers apparently. Where did you read that? I haven't heard that before and i haven't seen him in any training pictures either.
  10. Did anyone see Pattison play before he got that serious injury? I'm interested to know how much potential he had back then cos i can't see how he's managed to get this far in football. The only thing i can think of is he was a great talent as a kid and the injuries have buggered him.
  11. Source? Oliver suggested it the other day but he was just guessing.
  12. I tell you what a priority should be. A new bloody left back. When Enrique isn't playing for one reason or another it fucks the balance of our whole midfield up. Obviously a lot of the time it has been down to Big Sam bedding Enrique in for the first month, but he will suffer injuries and suspensions. A left back should be high up on the list or priorities. More so than another striker i would say.
  13. Furthest i've travelled is Newcastle to Cardiff, not sure how far that is.
  14. Bit unfair on Coppinger like. He only played a few minutes against Spurs about 7 years ago.

    Alan Smith

Its quite clear Viduka is our most important striker.

    Alan Smith

Owen only scores when he gets chances.
  17. If we beat Sunderland at the SOS and Liverpool at SJP he'll be Soopa Sam again.
