there hasn't been a waiting lists for years, they've never used 1, last season there was a few thousand tickets spare There is a little one just made of people who have asked to go on the waiting list during 07/08. I had a season ticket for 7 years before last season but i couldn't afford it last time so i lost my season ticket and i had to apply to go on the waiting list so i could get an application for 08/09. Obviously the list is only probably made up of a few people, but they should still have made the imformation clear for the few who are on it.

Got through to the box office. They've left things very late. It took me hours to get through to find out some information i don't think they made public. Season tickets for people on the waiting list go on sale tomorrow. They haven't even sent the applications out to people on the waiting list yet though (well i haven't got mine anyway). The woman told me to get the reference number of my ST and fill the forms in and hand them in tomorrow. Well how the bloody hell am i supposed to do that if i haven't got my forms through? She told me to just take just take my reference number and payment up if i don't get my application form tomorrow? Which reference number? The one of the application. What bloody application? So i had to get a reference number from over the phone of the woman. Why couldn't they have organised this a bit better? Not only did they not make this public, but they're putting them on sale to people on the waiting list when they haven't even got the forms required to buy one, and by the time they do arrive they will be on public sale anyway. It will probably be easy enough to get one anyway, but its not the point. Ametuers.

I've been on the waiting list and i thought i would have had an application through by now. I want to sit in the Leazes corner. I rung up the box office the other day and they said i should get my application through any day now, but the problem is they go on general sale on Wednesday. I'm not sure what to do now though because i won't get the forms through until tomorrow dinner time at the earliest now so its not gonna reach them or get sorted before the tickets go on general sale. I'll be pissed off if i don't manage to get a seat in the corner because of them going on sale before my application has been processed giving the fact that i'm on the waiting list. Thought they would give people on the list a bit of time before putting them on general sale. They've took too long this summer over these season tickets. I'm going to have to ring them up again now and see what they say.

I can't think of many players from these shores who i think we could sign realistically and would send us to a top 6 level unfortunatly. Not that i'm expecting top 6 next season. I think KK is gonna have to have a good look abroad to find players for a decent price who can send us up to the next level. Our midfield worries me mostly. If we can at least get a good centre back and a couple of quality central midfielders in i would be happy with that as far as the starting 11 goes. Obviously if we lose N'Zogbia then that all changes as well because i have absolutely no faith in Duff. As far as the squad goes, we have quite a few spaces to fill, and we can't afford to fill them with wasters.

I agree about King being better all around than Terry.

I think Bentley is using the European thing as a get out of jail card from Blackburn. To describe it as a sideways step to come here is ludicrous....have you ever been to Blackburn? This is a massive club about to take off I think, and some of the southern journalists know it as well. If Ashley provides the funds, I think we'll be in for Bentley and plenty of players will buy into Keegan's vision. Well i'd love to think we could get Bentley, but i do think Liverpool might come in for him. I am not for one minute saying Blackburn have anywhere near the amount of potential as this club. I've been down to their ground a few times and their fans are even worse than their stadium. He's got no reason to stay there if he has any ambition, but i just think he might have a european option available if he was to leave.

I have massive faith in KK to attract players here, but where do people get the confidence from that he would sign for us? I would say anyone would usually move from Blackburn to us, but he is stating he wants european football. KK would have to do a lot of persuading to assure him he'll be playing european football by 09/10.

I'd be content with Redknapp. I just find it baffling that people think this Newcastle job is attractive to a top manager. You can't please everyone but just look at some of the reactions of people in this thread. Some people have it in for him before he even takes charge of a game (if he does). It doesn't fucking help.

We really do not need to spend big money on a right back imo. Its one of the only positions where our first choice is more than good enough. We need another right back but not an expensive mercenary. Beye has looked impressive.

I would like Hughes here. Realistic target as well. I can't help but laugh at some of the expectations of our fans.

I'm confused more than anything. Baffling decision really. The timing especially. After they had chose to stick with him after the takeover they should have stuck with that decision and give him time. I really don't think he's gone on the back of the last few games. They must have something lined up otherwise it is a very strange decision with us approaching the middle of the transfer window next week.
