    Jesús Gámez

On the very limited game time he's had so far that was his best performance. You can tell he has played at a classy level. It's difficult to criticise him in any way considering he's about our 10th choice defender and won't see much more game time unless another defensive crisis crops up.
  2. He's some player judging on performances so far.
  3. If some of the arseholes who followed Darlo in the past are still around this may be the game when the Shields nouveaux fans find out what going to an away game really can be like.
  4. So everyone likes them and hates us! Ha ha ha! That forum is hilarious! Yes, it's quite amazing how so many other club's supporters across the land love them and empathise with their paedophile and fascist sympathizing tendencies.
  5. Prejudice. Plain and simple.
  6. Definitely thought he was one of our top performers yesterday, on a day when quite a few did well. I think he is a Premiership level player with potential to get better.
  7. Nothing really which is probably why ref, linesman and no one else saw anything at the time. Just the usual BBC anti Mitrovic agenda, the retarded Neville brother and a few other usual suspects trying to big it up. If that's worthy of MOTD time then they could probably make a one hour spin off show of all the weekend's similar stuff and Hudderfield last week could have a show of their own.
  8. They're utterly insane! Imagine asking fans of any other club in the world who would they rather have Rafa or Grayson! You'd get laughed at and the majority wouldn't know who Grayson is! The bitterness on that forum towards us is absolutely hilarious! That Janey seems to be leading the table at the minute! She must scour every NUFC-related site on the internet for stories! The owld minger has a massive chip on her shoulder like. When she's not starting campaigns to get young journalists sacked she must spend every waking moment festering in her world of Newcastle hatred. Wonder what, or who, happened to take her to such levels of bitterness ?
  9. Got there just before me Aye. Anything above 30K and there'll be at least six gushing "our fans" type threads
  10. Just hope they haven't peaked too soon and that things can get even worse once the football begins
  11. Every pre season of Aarons ever. Difficult to disagree with that..... but he just looks different this time, fitter, stronger, hungrier. Hopefully more resilient. Here's hoping anyway
  12. TBH any new young left sided signing would be going some to look better than Rolando has pre-season. He looks stronger and better than ever. If he stays fit this could be his time.
  13. Larry fucking Grayson man ?
  14. The first part is probably right but I think Liam is not so much concerned about the current LB but what is between him and that player. He'd be happy just to be an understudy at present and an occasional member of the first team squad.
  15. Not wanting to go all RTG but that is complete rubbish. Many of Newcastle's longest and most loyal fans are from County Durham and parts of the county, particularly NW Durham, are as black and white as anywhere on Tyneside or Northumberland.
  16. The current squad with Benitez is probably good enough to survive but not a great deal more. Looking at an old Football Pink (2005) yesterday, this team was 8th in the table, had beaten West Ham 4-2 away that day and exactly the same eleven had beaten Arsenal at home the week before. How would it compare with our current best starting eleven even before, hopefully, some quality is added ? GIVEN RAMAGE ELLIOT BOUMSONG BRAMBLE SOLANO FAYE PARKER AMEOBI SHEARER OWEN. LUQUE CHOPRA and GATE were among the 5 subs and Souness was the manager. Granted a couple of them would walk into today's starting eleven but Shearer was way past his best by then and almost all of them would have been ripped apart by someone for something on here. Yes I know the league was very different back then
  17. Wonder if Delph will end up being the biggy this window ? Pretty certain he'd be our highest paid player ever if it happened.
  18. Particularly considering he runs the U23/reserve team and not any of the academy teams, and Gibson has not played for the U23s
  19. I doubt it considering he didn't have a professional contract and at this point in time he is merely deciding who to sign his first professional contract with. We are not getting a "transfer fee" we are being compensated for the time and money spent on him while at the academy and the level of development, which in his case has been quite stellar.
  20. Beating Mallorca 4-1 at home, including a Robert special, and thinking their young centre forward looked very useful. It was Samuel Eto
  21. From the chron. Fair enough then. Still a shame that he apparently doesn't want to stay though, whatever the reason. Yeah, I'd be interested to see if it's just down to £££ or if its something else. Might have to do with NUFC and Everton's divergent outcomes when it comes to developing prospects, coupled with the fact that Everton are a better-run club. A small lashing of this with a major helping of a 16 year old with a snidey agent craving every possible penny. Surprisingly his agent had recommended he stay for at least another couple of years. His elder brother has been frustrated at lack of a path to the first team squad due to signings like Lazaar and may well have influenced his decision. Everton are very aggressive in the youth market, sometimes borderline. Everyone at Newcastle will have wanted to keep him but if his mind was made up there's not much they can do about it.
  22. The minutes he's been on the park he looked well suited to the PL, made things happen and was clever with the ball. As has been said a thousand times already though, can we get him on the park and keep him on it...........
  23. OUCH !! This smoggy poster nails it in the second part of his post here. Expressed with great lucidity but not too popular on RTG https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/smoggies.1379067/page-4#post-25857849
  24. There's definitely something there though his progress seems to have faltered. It may well work out. If it doesn't he's not been a huge investment.
  25. Yedlin's stock seems to have risen sharply on Wearside today.
