Back to full beast mode. He said we would be ready. He wasn't wrong.

Crappy for him. Was looking forward to having him back in the squad. Good chance to replace now.

Get in wood. Anyone saying we needed Wilson is talking nonsense. -

Wow. Need Wilson on the pitch lol -
Real Madrid bidding 80m euros for Davies. That would be a crazy price. Shame we aren't there to spend that kind of money on a LB lol He would be amazing here. Could probably find someone as good for that money though.

Where I'm unclear about is the difference between breaches and bets. It doesn't seem they are one in the same? Barton had 35 breaches but placed over 1200 bets. Also are some breaches viewed differently to others?
-
Just for context again. Joey Barton got an 18-month suspension for 35 breaches. Essentially the new breaches Toney has been hit with today. The FA were quoted at the time saying this was the “shortest possible” it could consider. Toney now has almost 5 times as many breaches as Barton. What's that, a potential 7 and half year ban under the FA's previously quoted most lenient punishment? He is finished.

Pulisic has talent but he is absolutely over hyped and overrated imo. I'd rather we spent more than half the amount beating Leicester to Tajon Buchanan. I'm 100% biased on that though! If Howe and the team want Pulisic I am 100% behind it. He has undeniable xfactor if we could harness it and help him stay fit and grow.

Been following too. Devastating news. Hopefully they can get independent coroner's involved.

Karius Manquillo Botman Burn Targett Willock Shelvey Joelinton Almiron Isask ASM Reasonably strong like up. maybe longstaff for shelvey, Murphy for Manquillo for a laugh.
-
I think that's the remit. We might sign one bigger name player if the price is right (Maddison/Diaby) but then several u21s that are ready to contribute if needed. That we we can retain a bigger squad.
-
If its money I hope we take it. Wood will likely be moved out next summer either way. Over the next two windows: Upgrade LB Young understudy RB Upgrade RCB partner for Botman Physical, powerful targetman/Wood replacement with pace. Right winger left winger DM AM Think in January we will get a midfielder and winger, maybe that RB understudy in Ashby. GK is another position to watch but guess it depends what happens with Karius and Dubs and the reserve GK we signed.

Group F: Belgium, Canada, Morocco, Croatia (Morocco and Croatia qualify)
toontownman replied to Big River's topic in Football
Central midfield and defence was always going to be Canada's Achilles heel. Kone looks like the real deal but there needs to be another 2 or 3 quality Central defenders and midfielders emerge for 2026. Last goal aside Miller really played up this tournament and Vitoria didn't look dreadful considering how slow he is. The ghostly midfield and lack of defensive protection killed the game. The Croats got caught out by the tactics to begin either half but soon adjusted and showed their class. Hard lesson for Canada and Herdman today. Naivety around but so much to still love about how Canada is developing. -
Just another year or so and we can naturalize and call him up for England. Ithink

They have but it's been pretty hard not to look good. They have all the time in the world to pass it around. Zero press from Wales just sit back, hope to win the ball and invariable hoof it or just turn it back over if they do get possession. Rancid performance from Wales so far. -

When Wales break at pace they literally break.
