  1. Will have to listen fully later. I fully expect the press have taken the quotes they need rather than full context. However on first look the use of the word "purely" is a bit silly tbf. Forgetting the political elephant in the room, it is surely a financial one and he could have worded that better and given him less for the press to throw at him, maybe he did and it wasn't printed. It is quite possible will be getting much of the trip, facilities and otherwise at a low cost or fully paid for. They have been once and know the facilities as to whether it is suitable or not, aside from the purely bit the quotes read fine and truthful to me. It is always damned if he says something, damned if he doesn't in this situation. The press want to trip him up and twist his words regardless.
  2. So amazing to watch us be competitive in these type of fixtures not sit back and expect to take it. Draw was the fair result. Thought they were going to score at the death, the almost had us on the ropes but we were well organized and held well. Love me some Dan Burn but can he be told not to grab the opposition on every opportunity. It's going to cost us soon. Looking forward to easing Jonjo back in. We will need the squad this week and next.
  3. Came in to post similar. A RW, wide forward and AM or CM if we want Bruno to play advanced, is needed. Full back positions can wait until summer with another young CB.
  4. Will be good to ease Shelvey back in over the next week or so. Willock look good off the bench, likely his best place. Joelinton was off the pace just as much as Longstaff today imo although the latter looked much worse in the last 20 and with Bruno off the park.
  5. Almost like we need two forwards brought in last window. We are limping to the break right now but the gamble might pay off. The thought of seeing too much more or Wood is a terrifying one, bless him.
  6. Forest are absolutley awful. That is saying something playing and awful wolves team.
  7. Bit more here. He was with OneFootball since May. "He joins from Arsenal FC where he was the chief commercial officer and member of the Arsenal Executive team. During his tenure at Arsenal, Silverstone led a number of successful commercial initiatives, most notably from a partnership perspective the bringing on board, and successful development, of Arsenal’s globally renowned adidas partnership, and the signing and extension of Arsenal’s groundbreaking sleeve partnership with Visit Rwanda. I2 Silverstone also oversaw the rapid growth of Arsenal’s e-commerce business, the extension, and sell-out, of Arsenal’s expanded Club Level and the agreement with Amazon for Arsenal’s “All Or Nothing” documentary. He represented Arsenal on various Premier League, FA and ECA Committees and Task Forces across Men’s and Women’s football." https://www.svgeurope.org/blog/news-roundup/onefootball-appoints-former-arsenal-executive-peter-silverstone-in-new-senior-leadership-role/
  8. Only missing. "But the negativity from the fans and local press probably doesn't help matters.."
  9. Can't believe how much time and space Brentford gave him. Monster performance today. He will be marked off the park next game but that just frees up someone else to cause havoc! Simple love how he interacts with the crowd and his confidence. Really hope we can keep him here through our ascent. We will likely have offers in January and the summer for him.
  10. Quietly settling in like a boss. Looking forward to seeing who his longterm partner in the center of defence will be. Fully expect someone like Badiashile to come in next summer.
  11. Belgium or Germany would be ideal for a loan.
  12. Finished 1-9 up away to Nettleham in the cup. Women's Super League attendance record also broken at Arsenal vs Tottenham. 47,367 Obviously it helps there is no prem but still very impressive!
  13. I englished good. I meant I could see them going for Rafa as an interim and if he isn't interested going for Dyche. They need a steady hand to stop the downward slide to the championship.
  14. Yes. Minor knock according to Howe. Will be back for Fulham.
  15. I think they will turn to Rafa and then Dyche as interim to stabilize them.
