  1. We are so shit we are making Chelsea shit.
  2. Lucky. Darlow is horrific. Chelsea could give us the ball and we would present it back to them. It's a painful watch.
  3. We're only making plans for Nigel We only want what's best for him We're only making plans for Nigel Nigel just needs that helping hand
  4. He's dead? Dickman is an understated appointment, regardless of his talent level in the job, he is coming from the best academy going in the NE and bringing all those links and relationships. He is well thought of and will be a big part in persuading youth clubs and parents to send youth players our way. Once we have turned the tide and re-established our set up in the area we could phase him out over time with better coaches if he isn't up to it. Smart hire.
  5. There's a cheat code for that somewhere..
  6. Via the leaks from his agent. Lots of reports we have interviewed multiple candidates though. Favre and Fonseca are the only two that have been mentioned in that respect.
  7. Kuyt the week after then Skjelbred.
  8. Some may say this is like new beginnings for trolling: "John Terry tipped to be next Newcastle United manager and replace "idol" Steve Bruce". https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/next-newcastle-manager-terry-bruce-25333399
  9. With a fake moustache and glasses? Or maybe just a wig..
  10. I'm not convinced by Fonseca or Favre but the fact both are available and seemingly falling overthemelves to come, it seems mental for the new owners to consider the likes of Terry, lampard or martinez...nor will they imo. They will want a home run appointment with fans if they can get it. They have their ear close enough to the ground to know some of the names linked will be and already are divisive with fans. I'd be shocked if they did that. Also fair to say any appointment will likely have a few detractors but some stand out clear as not being fully accepted from the start. It's all about getting someone with Charisma and/or the ability to unite the team and fanbase. "Trust the process" .......destroy it if it's terry. Lol
  11. Exactly.. while officially he isn't related to Faustino... is he actually?? Darion is more a poor man's Kazenga to Lomana LuaLua. Pretty inconsistent for Portland through the years but sparks of brilliance. Although....Definitely not Faustinos younger brother either.
  12. Other than terry all of the mentioned names would likely do enough to keep us up, martinez and lampard included. It seems increasingly likely this appointment will be one for the mid term at best. Maybe there are some bigger names we don't know about or ten Hag is interested. The majority of those linked seem like placeholders until the manager we want becomes available. We have to do what we have to do with what is available right now with where we are at.
  13. The dream.. ...although swap shelvey for willock. Dubs back is important.
  14. He has already said he had full assurances of his future at the club. He isn't going anywhere. From last weeks interview it was clear he is living the dream and just wants to help in whatever capacity. I expect he will be kept on as the obligatory first team coach that help the new one settle in. Beyond that maybe he stays first team or works elsewhere within the club. Maybe the flexibility let's him coach with England too.
  15. When you are pretending to listen but really thinking about how the bacon is.
  16. ...leant into the camera and winked as he said it too.
  17. This Manger search is a "moveable feast" to be fair.
  18. Fingers crossed. I think given the back and forth on Bruce it will be another week and Jones is still pitch side for Brighton
  19. "According to RAC1, former Barca captain Xavi is one of three candidates in the frame to replace Koeman. River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo is also on Barca’s shortlist, while the club are also considering Barca B’s head coach Sergi Barjuan as an interim appointment."
  20. Yeah. That's a worry. Looked like he has his coaching career on track. Fingers crossed its not as ominous as it all sounds.
  21. I've had 12 years without it as it's not on anywhere here. Dazn picked up the ashes and I got tivimate. Revolutionary! Like an old friend.
  22. Just like with prospective players in coming months, we are playing a different ball game in terms of players/managers/agent demands. There will be higher pay expectations and longer negotiations imo.
