  1. Clearly show Steve works hard overtime to ensure all scenarios are planned for. Clearly has an open door policy to support his players. Clearly shows Steve cares for players beyond even what the player and he himself even thinks. Proactive, innovative a friend for every occasion. Steve Bruce. #justiceforsteve
  2. PL has a lot on their plate for sure. Also think they know the optics. Either way the more time they take the more it looks like they are taking it very seriously. Tedium. Daily Mail now rehashing more crap (thats been floating around today) about 10 clubs grouping together to block the sale. Let it end. I am sure the PL want it done and out the way as quickly as possible at this point.
  3. Could have been worse... Could have woken up with jim white next to you.
  4. Keeps things interesting until things are announced. I remember when they said it might take until mid may just before Easter and thought how the fuck can we last until then.
  5. If it's not a Terrahawk i'm out. I’m hoping the terrahawk is allowed to stay Have to find Zelda before they can sack her.

  7. .com are pretty reliable. Not like they haven't got things wrong over the years but as others have said they have held back throughout this saga. Don't see them posting that without it being nailed on. This is the week. Tuesday clearance, money transferred for a Friday press release imo. Have also felt that would be the case the last two weeks though.. Third weeks the charm..
  8. Hughes was appointed as an up and coming sought after coach. Did well with Wales, well with Blackburn and Man City broke a compensation record to bring him there. He came around the start of June. Takeover was end of August/September. He lasted a year and a half. Situation was a bit different to ours with Bruce.
  9. By hypocrites that wouldnt have Bruce near their own club. We are going to be called worse under the new ownership and like Man city fans can attest to it will be potentially a no friends us vs the rest of the world situation. I don't see the point in waiting unless it's for reasons I mentioned earlier. This ownership group wants to build the club up from the bottom and have the resources, pull and vision to do it and get pretty much whomever they want. I also don't think they would bat an eyelid making an unpopular decision when it is without any question the best business one. Bruce has his fans in our support but none of them would grumble about the names mentioned to potential replace him. No one that matters to them would be calling them cunts. Why wait. Its losing ground on preparations for next year. That might appease a small minority but it doesn't make financial sense.
  10. Only logical reasons for keeping Bruce on would be the owners waiting until they don't owe spuds anything for Poch or if another manager they want has commitments. If the Pochettino rumors are even true they could also just hire his coaching staff ahead of time (if they aren't under the same restrictions) and have them coach under his instructions until May 30th. Still, when his is available for nothing, poch is likely to have a good two weeks at least to work with the squad before the season resumes. More time than most new managers get during the season and with a team in a reasonably positive position. Why waste any time?
  11. Ka-bump! Always liked Milner. As laboured as his running was. Still quicker and more effective than Ritchie lol.
  12. Barber kicking off again apparently saying its not just the bottom 6 that think neutral venues isn't fair. I don't get it. Certainly clubs know their own pitch a bit more and maybe feel comfortable in their own stadium but there are no fans which make the most impact of playing at home. I am sure someone can also argue it's not fair playing in an empty stadium and players would be mentally affected. I guess if its Newcastle vs Bournemouth you have the home advantage making them travel but if both teams are travelling it's the same for everyone, every game. On top of that while they don't get home games, no-one does they also don't play away essentially or everyone plays away at the same time so surely that is the most fair way around it. The opponents would be equally as disadvantaged. There is so much division in the media I find it hard to see a compromise happening in time to play again this season. No relegation and then relegating 6 next year won't be fair necessarily either. Such a mess.
  13. Threatened of course. Have you ever seen one of these protectors of justice put Bruce's name forward for the Arsenal, Manure, Spurs jobs over the past few year? Even suggest him for the likes of Southampton, Everton, West Ham, Watford or bloody Norwich? Beyond that it is a jobs for the boys, buddy protection ring. Same with the players speaking out. They have it good and keep each other employed. The supposed player noise for us is all about survival. All the guff will be gone if this goes through. Their only hope is Bruce staying so they can coast some more for a little longer.
  14. Pochettino has lots of things that fit for most of us and lots ahead of everyone other than Rafa. - Style of football we all want - Premier League experience and knowledge - Links to great players and a pull for players - Focus on promoting youth - Focus on developing players of all ages - Likability - Loved by fans, liked and respected by players. Although shares a trait with Rafa in pushing players to their limits. Some haven't liked that! - Forward thinking I still have question marks about his X-factor when it counts in big games that matter. Happy to go along with those saying it was a lack of backing though. One of the things I loved about Rafa returning was his vision of building the club from the ground up. Pochettino has however also been a huge part of the Spurs rebuild off the pitch including the players lodge by the training ground. https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2017/oct/18/tottenham-maurico-pochettino-input-spurs-manager-real-madrid https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5773095/Inside-Tottenhams-luxurious-new-player-accommodation-lodge-situated-training-ground.html I have actually found myself now swaying towards a fresh start and Pochettino over Rafa. I feel dirty saying that though. We might not be the end game for Pochettino with dreams of Real Madrid/Barca etc. but he will have to be succesful and win us something here to be considered for bigger jobs. Win win either way.
  15. Mr. T in clubber Lang gear. He wanted full eye contact the whole time for his intense stare. Allegedly.
  16. STM got a blowjob off a boxer Keane has branched his business from Golden Retrievers?
  17. Hopefully we will soon see all that shite about Bruce having nothing to work with will soon dissipate. Schar, Lascelles, Longstaffs, Almiron, likely Joelinton are only a few players who have class and have been completely buried by Bruce's non tactics and coaching. So many players will look better with better coaching, even the truly shit ones. Add 4/5 really high quality players in to what we have and we will see the next level, dramatically, especially from the likes of Almiron and even ASM.
  18. No more ask Caulkin please. Poor sod. It happens when it happens.
  19. That's the Rafa piece. This would likely be his end game (other than perhaps Spain) no jumping on better offers. Pochettino would quickly fall in love with the place here though and likely build up a similar connection to the fan base to change his mind! Attacking football vs emotional Rafa connection.
  20. Nah. Be done within the next two weeks They arent going to string the prospective owners along and risk losing the potential windfall and cash injection into the league.
  21. Good PR. Wave through this one because they have little choice given their current rules and change right after so it doesnt happen again.
