Pretty strong Canadian roster. Reasonably happy with that.

I do think it's a negative thing to do. Comes off a little desperate and that our side has some good dirt on the PL and want to make sure if they lose they dont leave the PL scarred. Could also just be pissed with how long it's taking and maybe they feel there is another holdup and looking like it will take even longer to get resolved. Hence pushing in public. We wont find any favour from fans of other clubs or the general public so not sure what its about.

Bruce is always available. Snip at the price.

Needs longer break... will be Spurs manager by the end of the week. What a gong show all round. Howe surely to Palace? Still think he would be a great fit for Spurs.
-
Could both be leaving. Woodman won't return to sit on the bench as much as Darlow has a taste and is done sitting as number 2 as well.

Wait... who is that.. could it be.. its its Oh my Gawd, its Caldwell, he's here, he's here... -
Just watched it. That is unbelievably hilarious. Nonce talking about not wanting him anywhere near Spurs. Sure Fonseca will be great and has done so much more than Rafa.

Should be interesting. Much like Chelsea the fans might just fuck it for Rafa. If they give him a chance he will be gold there though. Really spices up the Merseyside Derby. I have no worries if we actually get taken over we will hire a decent manager. If we don't get taken over we are fucked anyway.

With managers like Rafa they have a clear vision of what they want, the type of player they want, skillset, potential etc. If someone doesn't fit it isn't always down to them not being talented enough or not having potential to be a great player. They just don't fit what the manager wants for his particular style, skill and vision. Sometimes they make a mistake, sometimes that players might be great elsewhere but just never would have excelled in the same way here. All managers let players go that end up being raging successes elsewhere just as they sign complete duffers. Circumstances and situation are variables that you can't always account for. Do they fit in with the area and settle, click with fans, click with other players and the coaches, does a freak injury or bad performance break them mentally. Certain players thrive under critical and pressurized environments like Rafa while others do better with the no approach Bruce. That is some of the reasons why some shit managers/players have purple patches or look better than they are or better managers/players fall flat on the faces when you assume they would do well. To be fair, other than potentially Rafa, when have we had belief in our club to make players better or develop them? The likes of Mbabu, Toney and Armstrong have excelled by getting as far away from this clusterfuck of a club as possible, just ironic it was under Rafa they left. For whatever reason Rafa didn't deem them to work under his system and vision, maybe he was wrong, maybe not. Either way I have zero faith in us signing someone and doing anything other than damaging their career.

Not for Everton, Spurs, Palace, Wolves. Pretty shocking he was linked to none of them... ..Oh yeah all the bell ends in the media saying how we didnt deserve him aren't interested in championing him going elsewhere. Surprise.

The skeptic in me says all the current noises, news, Rafa return talk, lates leak of new owner plans etc. comes off more like a futile way to build a bit more pressure on the PL by raising fans hopes again and building support to pressure the PL. Likewise the PL taking the Saudis off the Premiership Piracy list seems like a compromise and consolation prize so they don't hold grudges when they don't allow the takeover again. My heart though..... It's FUCKING ON.

But but but football insider said... It was an exclusive... Rafa's critics always tried ramming it down our throats he was in it for the money and would take the Everton job in a shot. God I hope he doesn't take it just so Keys and the other knobheads aren't gloating.

He played the Kuqi role upon his return. Still, more useful in all round play than Gayle.

They are all meant to be decent until our coaches start working with them.

The four RB's thing is mental. Especially when they are leaving out Lingard who is one of the most inform English players. Southgate has totally bottled it with the RB's. Decent squad though. Shame about Greenwood. -
Literally the first line in the Chronicle article it's fans on a wind up on social media putting his name out there.

Good craic.

Bolton might well be in the ascendency too. Not sure where they are at financially though. Rotherham are always strong in this league. It will be a tough season to go up again.

We will shift Schar to accommodate.

Ha. Amateur hour. I Didnt even think to look. 8 posts in over a year! Still don't know why we haven't tied him down another year. I thought we were going to.
-
Did this actually ever happen? Everywhere is talking about him walking away for free next month. That we would even consider not doing a one year renewal is complete madness. Arguably our best defender.

It's all coming up Brentford.
