Away from the potential conspiracy theory smokescreen to stop expenditure in January, there is a more worrying possibility. Should he have to advertise the sale? Seems a bit of a worry this couldn't get done in private, which means two things; no-one is interested, certainly no-one that will be able to take the club any further forward or more likely the asking price is unrealistic. Hopefully he is true to his word for once and drops the price so he can fuck off before Christmas. I'm not sure what they want to achieve by publicly putting it up for sale. They don't give a shit about fans interests or uncertainty around the players, fans, club. never have so why start now? Going publicly is surely only to put the pressure on those that have already registered interest otherwise he is just setting himself up to look desperate so potential buyers will sit til he drops his asking price.

Having two big upgrade players in the number 9 and 10 spot would be so huge for us. Certainly one of Ayoze's better games this season. He is too ineffective though overall, hopefully the goal breeds confidence in him. Like the lad, he has talent just hasn't had his head in the role yet.

Disappointed after the game but would have been more than content hearing the result before. Played some great football at times. With 3 or 4 decent upgrade players we could be half decent.

Definitely. Thought he struggled a bit just because he was adjusting playing next to Jonjo. We noticed him more in a creative sense with Hayden as he had to be. He was more anonymous to the attacking eye with Shelvey taking that role. Think there is a cracking potential partnership there once they play more together.

Looked best as a wide forward although he was far from perfect there. Hit a progressive brick wall about a year and a half ago now. Shame as he really burst on the scene looking a prospect. He still potentially is but I don't know how we use him best.
